ROLES HAVE BEEN CAST! THANKS FOR YOUR AUDITIONS!!!
I'm animating a commercial for a client and need one male to lend his voice. There are actually 2 male characters, but in order to keep under budget I'd like to only use one voice actor for both those characters - so the more versatile you are, the better!
As this is a paid project, payment will be discussed upon role confirmation.
I need these lines fast, though - within 3 days.
Here's the list of characters we need voices for:
MALE CHARACTERS
NARRATOR(ALREADY CAST)
The narrator should sound like a BBC wildlife commentator. A middle-aged to older man who speaks eloquently. Think of a Monty Python actor doing a newscast, or David Attenborough.
AUDITION LINES
LINE 1: Deep in the jungle, a group of simians are watching their favorite sports on the telly. Everyone's shouting and hollering, but does anyone truly know what the outcome will be?
LINE 2 : And so, just as the Super Bowl return with each passing year, the circle of life continues.
CHARLIE CHIMPANZEE (ALREADY CAST)
Charlie is a streetsmart character who knows every aspect of the sports world. He's a bit of a playboy, but has a good heart. There's some pictures below for reference. Think of him as a somewhat refined fratboy, but older. Swanky old gentleman with a deep voice, somewhat like Sean Connery or Robin Leach. A Bristish or Australian accent MIGHT
work (just not a hokey Dundee or Crocodile Hunter type), try it several different ways and we'll see what works.
AUDITION LINES
LINE 1 : I'm going to share my tips with the rest of the world, so they can end up like me!
LINE 2 : Wanna get out of the jungle? Just follow me, Charlie Chimp! And you too, can be one happy willy!

FEMALE CHARACTER
CANDY (ALREADY CAST)
The deadline is going to be fairly soon, I'm afraid. We simply have to get this commercial churned out quick, and the animators need to get to work immediately. I hope to have the part cast by tonight, or tomorrow, JULY 18TH, 2012.
Please send your lines in the .wav or.mp3 format to cyrus@broomstikz.com
It would be best to name the files as follows, "charactername_yourname_auditionline". For example, "Narrator_Charlie_Line1".
I look forward to hearing some great auditions!
