This fandub of FFIX was originally run by Marie of her own dubbing thing called Cerridwen studios. Due to personal and university issues and the like, she had to step down and I offered to take over to stop the project from fading away. Final Fantasy IX is my favorite game... ever... and I hope to get the entire game finished, no matter how long it'll take.


Final Fantasy IX was released in 2000 in Japan and North America, and 2001 in Europe and Australia. It is the last game to be on the PSX, and released just before the PS2 was released. Final Fantasy IX didn't enjoy as large of sales as many other Final Fantasy titles due to the time it was released. It was released for the PSX the same year as the PS2 was released, and developed both in conjunction with and barely before Final Fantasy X, the first PS2 Final Fantasy title. Despite that, FFIX is a great game with an amazing storyline that needs to be done justice. That's what the previous director wanted to do, and that's what I hope to finish.

Instructions and Rules


- Do not audition for a character you do not really want


- Realize that, if you audition for two mains, you MAY GET TWO MAINS. This is a lot of commitment, so make sure you can do that first.


- I will hold auditions for episodes as they come (For instance, I won't look for an Amarant until the episode BEFORE he's needed)


- Please send all lines as .mp3


- If there is no way you can submit an .mp3, then .wav is alright


- Please .zip all lines together in a file named something like "Username_FFIX" (example: Scarlet_FFIX)


- Keep multiple takes of one line in the same file


- Name every line "Username_Character_Line#" (example: Scarlet_Garnet_01)


- Send auditions to lunareclipsefilms@gmail.com


- The deadline is whenever I find a match


- I want to keep the cast small, so please audition for as many characters as possible. It's easier to work with and coordinate a smaller amount of people. This isn't to say that I'll sacrifice quality for a smaller cast; no way will I ever do that.
