Hello there, my name is Sith50 and i am currently preparing and setting up a project that as the title says, is a fandub of the final three episodes of yugioh 5ds, i know that alot of the fans who loved the english and the japanese version were cheated out by 4kids for having the series cut short in the US and thus was unable to watch the final story arc of the most beloved yugioh series since the original, that is why i have taken it upon myself to attempt and try to fandub the final three episodes of the last season. Why the final three you may ask? because i felt that the final three had a big impact on the series as far as wrapping things up, as some of you who saw the original version may know, the last three episodes mostly focus around the signers becoming unsure of what to do about their futures as some of them wish to remain in Neo Domino City or take off and venture out into the world; to help give them an answer Yusei duels Jack and at the end he explains to them to not be afraid of what the future may hold for them and that no matter what their bond will always keep them connected and help give them strength to over come any obstacle. It was this very element in the final three that made this the most interesting and by far the best story in the 5Ds series and really helped to send a message out to the fans and to the people of Japan, considering that at the time the final episodes aired was after the terrible Tohoku Earthquake incident in 2011. So to help bring that message out to the fans of Yugioh i wanted to undertake this challenge and try to fandub the last three episodes.
As of Right now i do not posess a full scrpt of the final three episodes, however that is already being put into the works, once a script has been place i will update this thread with auditioning roles along with lines, voice-types, etc. however if you are interested in joining this project you may link me to your demo reel where i can get a clear idea of what role to give you, i will not promise that you will get the role right then and there but i will promise that i will take into carefu consideration all of the voices that i hear and will make my best judgment fromt hat as to who will play who, also even if you don't get the role if you impressed me enough i will keep you as a back up voice just in case the first choice is unable to continue their role as i know this production will take alot of time to bring together, I am also looking for a release date sometime in late 2013 of the first episode(Ep. 152)
I hope to make this project successful as i know that some fandubs never get finished or completed due to cast members being replaced or progress is slowed down due to unforseeable events. thank you for reading this and like i said i will update this thread once a script has been completed and auditioning lines are put together.
