Zombie Radio Play - Kill Code: Z [1F, 1M]

Hi everyone,

I have an all new original Radio Play – Kill Code: Z. It will accompany a new game that is being created for the iPad and Flash.
It is set during a zombie apocalypse, for this first section there are only two voices heard. It is a “call to arms” piece. If all goes well and it is well received I will be looking to build on the characters and add more depth.

Audition deadline – As it is only a small piece I would like to have it wrapped up in post production by the 23rd July. So auctions will be open until the 13th July.

MALE
Name: Eye17
Age: Late 20’s
Bio: Unknown name but he is a watcher for the survivors movements. They help everyone get from A to B without attack or run-ins with the Mob bosses.
Voice type: He is an average Joe

Audition line 2: Reading you loud and clear Group Leader one. I have a few people with me and we want to join the fight. Let’s take our city back.
FEMALE (LEAD)
Name: Eye5
Age: Late 30’s
Bio: Unknown name, she was with her son when they attacked – she lost him, but not the fight. This is her son’s dying wish – to fight for freedom.
Voice type: She is a mum with nothing left to lose.

Audition line 1: This is eye5, repeat this is Eye5. I’m not sure if anyone is listening, (voice breaks)…I buried my son today.

Audition line 2: We have too much to worry about between those things and the animals that claim to own the city; it’s time to make a stand.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for your auditions they are really helping me flesh out the writing.

I have replied to a few of you with feedback - those who have not heard back will do so later today.

For those who are reading the specs and want to audition there is still time. One thing I will add is the female lead sound needs to be that of a mature woman. One who has lost everything, but is not giving up the fight. Think along the lines of Sarah Connor (T2 opening dialogue) . (Not that I am looking for just American's to audition, if the voice fits - your in.)

As for the male lead, the direction is one of "Thank God someone is taking point". Natural pauses etc but avoid the husky batman vibe - I caught myself doing it in a read through.

Sorry the amount of information being added after the fact - this is my first gig and I'm learning as I go. So plese bear with me.

Afternoon all,

Thank you for your patience in this process. I have listened to all of the audtions over the past few days and I must say the quality is outstanding.

With regards to casting I have come to the following decsion. The Mail female lead will be played by "Kiss of judus" while the male lead will be played by "Jonathon Wolf". (awaiting confirmation of acceptnce of course.)

Thank you once again for your audtions and if all goes well, I will be casting for extra characters for Act 1.
