AUDITIONS CLOSED.
Researcher: Abyssal Phoenix
SCP-600: Nathan Smith
I am in need of two male voice actors to dedicate their time and talent to voice a short interview from an SCP report. I do not really truly have anything in mind for how these voices are to sound, but I will put a bit of some guidelines for those wishing to try and audition.
In this interview, the researcher is trying to conduct some tests with a mysterious being that wants to do nothing more than talk about inane and unimportant subjects. The researcher continues in trying to get this mysterious creature to focus, but keeps getting off subject by engaging in "small talk".
I encourage you to study up more to understand the interview more thoroughly here: http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-600
Researcher: Mid to deep ranged voice, I imagine somewhere in his mid to late 30's or 40's. He keeps his calm and he seems to be a down-to-earth and very practical man. His audition lines are as follows:
[JUST ENTERING THE ROOM AND HAVING SOMEWHAT OF A TONE THAT A BUSINESS MAN WOULD] "Good morning, SCP-600. Today we are going to be performing some tests of your recall abilities."
"I am not going discuss that with you. Now, if you would please look at the four images on this page…"
[B]SCP-600: Mid-ranged voice, sounding as if he were in his late 20's, early 30's. He needs to sound very welcoming and warm when he speaks, trying to entice those he is speaking to to engage in his conversations, yet mysteriously eerie at the same time, not to be confused as being overly creepy. His audition lines are as follows:
[ACTING AS THOUGH HE IS SPEAKING TO AN OLD BUSINESS FRIEND]"Hey, man. No need to be so formal. I told you before, just call me George."
[TRYING TO SOUND AS IF HE'S INFORMED AND A FELLOW WORKER OF THE RESEARCHER] "Oh, that's cool. Let's get down to business. Say, what are your thoughts on the SCP-600 case? He's certainly an odd one - not that we haven't seen our share of odd ones, ha ha. Personally, I think the containment procedures are a little lax…"
Send your audition lines to: POKEMON44558@yahoo.com in either .wav or .mp3 format, preferably in a .rar or .zip file, but not absolutely necessary.
You may try out for both, but please realize you will more than likely only receive one part or the other.
