Project information - The position is for the narrator of two computer game cutscenes. There are religious and scientific ideas that might somehow be offensive (not intentionally), so the applicant must be prepared to narrate some concepts that they may not believe in themselves. Audition deadline - 30th June 2012 Recording and Contact information - Auditions should be in mp3 or wav format. -The filename should include your 'name' (or email alias) -Send your auditions to whyBish@gmail.com Character Name: Narrator Ideal narrator description: (I am flexible on gender / age, but will go with the ideal if available). Age: Grandmother Gender: Female Bio: Narrator of a story. Ideally the narrator is like a grandmother with a very important story to tell her grandchild (say ~10 or so, not talking to a baby or toddler). When I say grandmother, I'm not meaning 'old and weak' but 'old and wise'. Voice type: Ideal voice type would be a slightly posh british accent. Think of Julie Andrews as she is today. (Not looking for a Julie Andrews impersonation). The pace of the voice should be slow and confident. The voice should convey health and love, not foreboding. Audition line 1: Death... it comes to all of us. Audition line 2: The great end to the journey... or is it? The successful applicant will be paid $5USD per sentence. The current script requires 19 separate recordings and has 21 sentences. This is subject to change, but the number will be around this mark.
