=====Introduction and le' Rules=====
Hello, everyone! Some of you may know me from the last contest where the more suitable singer was able to collect $50 and an iTunes deal. We'll be doing the same thing here with a few twists. The main one being that this time, singers have to come up with an original, complimentary melody on their own as well as compete with - wait for it - male singers! (Somewhat inside joke) To compete, you have to lead the song from the first second onward with the instruments backing you up. You can make an entirely unique melody, compliment the notes of the instruments, do a mix of both, or do something daringly special. I accept all brands. After the deadline passes, the team will choose a winner for the audition and we'll proceed to send you the "full" version of "Burn My Sin" to finish. After I receive your (raw) audio file(s), I'll send the $50USD to your Paypal account and will proceed to upload the song to iTunes where we'll split any profits 50/50. I will pay for all entry fees that come with uploading a song into iTunes. The reason why you have to wait until you cover the full song is because, well, there's stories all over this forum over people not fulfilling obligations and I find paying afterwards helps them remain punctual and respect deadlines and communication. Here are the rest of the rules:
-Believe that the song is fluxing awesome when dem guitars come in
-Either gender can participate this time, but a good mic is a must
-You must come up with your own lyrics. If you really rather not, you are allowed to stick to ohhs and ahhs.
-You must be able to send voice files of the cover without the music (Mixing reasons). You do not have to do this for the audition, just if you cover the full version.
-You don't have to follow that first rule
-Respect the deadline. Because if you do not, you will be replaced and dropped from the deal without any warning or notification. Consider this your one and only warning. I do except extensions, but you must give me a warning 48 hours prior.
-If you owe or promised me a cover and want to enter the contest....well....I'm guessing you have time to finish that earlier arrangement first. ^_^
-If you were...uh... bad with communication with me or anyone else, please don't bother auditioning. People will tell me, and you will be disqualified.
-Goodness, MP3 format please.
-There are two versions of the song in the download link: One with a piano and one without. You are free to choose which one to use as per your preferences, but if you choose the one without a piano, you may realize there's a few seconds of silence. That's because I would like there to be vocals before the other sounds come in. I...strongly recommend it.
