Greetings!
My name is Max Nilsson. I'm based in Karlshamn, Sweden and I'm working together with 3 others on a game project.
We are making a classic point and click adventure game set in a Swedish folklore universe among trolls and goblins.
As all old Swedish folk lore; it has a dark undertone to it and the game gets more intense throughout as the player encounter progressively more evil beings.
The game is told through the story teller's narration and he is also the one who impersonates the characters of the game, much like in a children's story.
Our game won the prize of 50 000 kr in the Game Concept Challenge and it will hopefully be released towards september.
The voice that we need is an old man (60-80), with no distinct accent, that distort his voice as he is telling the story to fit the characters, both male and female, of our game (sirens, giants and other mystical beings).
The role is quite heavy since the storyteller is the only one in the game that talks and it will be about 50 pages worth of dialogue.
The character specs are:
Gender: Male
Age: 60-80
Accent: No distinct
Inspiration (This is how a storyteller could sound like in a video game, not necessarily what we are looking for):

Choose one of the following texts to audition with and feel free to exchange words if you like:
1.
It is said that when the moon leaves the sky, and as darkness envelopes the land and the stars awaken, you can hear the sounds of beings rarely seen.
It was during a night like this that a small, in the scope of the world, insignificant creature with no name was born. “What is this place?” the insignificant creature without a name wondered, as it emerged from the ground and began to explore the dark world.
2.
“Hello.” The small creature said politely. “Who are you?”
The gnome looked at the creature. “I'm the one who looks after this place. No simple task mind you. The master of the farm hasn't been tending to the land enough this season, so I have to make up for his stupidity by working myself to the bone.” The gnome muttered in a stern yet slightly proud voice.
3.
“What's that you have there? Stickyfingers, wherever did you find this gem?” The elf's eyes fixated on the amber. “It's glowing. I need it, give it to me!” The small creature pondered what to do as the elf continued. “What? Well, how about this, I'll allow you to take a small piece of ore from my silver vein, how does that sound? A small chunk! What do you say?” Before the small creature could answer, the elf quickly put the amber into his pocket.
