EDIT: Auditions are now closed and the judging process has begun. Those who auditioned may be contacted before a final decision is posted here to go over their availablity, etc. We thank all who have auditioned for your interest and time.

NeoToonami is now holding auditions for the recasting of the character SARA. Due to some scheduling conflicts with our previous actress, we decided to have open auditions here (note that auditions for SARA are being held in multiple places, however).
NeoToonami itself is a online webstream with original CGI, music, and of course voices. That said it is important you know this will be a long running role going in as well as the fact that NeoToonami is a fan project (as in by fans for fans) and is non profit. What we have to offer is an experience and credit. We can not offer a paycheck as, being a fan project, no profit can be made.
As for SARA herself, for those of you who are unfamiliar with the part, SARA is a sentient AI that sits alongside TOM, the host of the Toonami block. In NeoToonami, she has a similar role, though we are not necessarily looking for a carbon-copy of the original (meaning, it can differ as long as it fits the character).

To audition, we have prepared a few lines of dialog for you to act out:
1. Well, with our lack of funds there aren’t many- (SARA is interrupted) Hold on.
2. TOM, I’m picking up a wide burst transmission.
3. Powering up the transmission array now.
4. We’ve reached the origin of the signal. There’s a large ship outside, or what’s left of one. The signal is coming from one of the rooms on that ship.
5. TOM, are you on your way?
So, in order to be up for consideration for the role of SARA, this is what we need from you:
1. You must have a quality microphone.
2. You may use as many lines as you may want or need, but it is recommended that you act out at least two of the lines and send at least 3 takes of each line.
3. All auditions must be sent to PyrOMG@NeoToonami.com with your username, and please post a confirmation that you sent an email in this thread.
4. All files sent must be in MP3 format.
5. If you will be sending multiple files, they must all be in a zip file titled in this format: "SARA_Username_Audition"
The deadline for auditions is June 20, and the voice actress we select will be notified within a few days after that date. Good luck to all!
