Hey there! Let's make this short and sweet:
WHAT I NEED:
My name is Dylan Kelley (Sora565), known mostly from Youtube for my Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts voices. You can find my channel link below in the info.
I've looked for a long while for a song that my not-so-song-friendly voice can handle, and I think I'll give this a shot.
Way Back Into Love - the more or less main theme of the film "Music and Lyrics" is originally sung by Hugh Grant and Haley Bennett (or Drew Barrymore if you prefer her version of the female vocals).
The song is reasonably in my range and I hope to find a willing voice to play the female 'lead' in the song. It's a somewhat serious part, but let's remember, its only a song and I'm nothing too special.
I was built for voice acting, not singing.
So let's think of it as a fun experiment, shall we? For both myself and whatever lovely woman lands the audition.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Your Picture: This WILL be going on Youtube, so know that first. And secondly, I had hoped to use an image of myself and an image of my singing partner for the video (the audience likes to see the faces of their singers), so please be open to this. It is, however NOT NECESSARY.
Your Voice: I'm not too particular on this, just show me you are capable of singing and that you're really TRYING and putting some PASSION into your voice.
How to Audition: Simply attach a sample of you singing a section of the song (more than 20 seconds long) to an e-mail and send it my way, OR singing the entire song if you wish ; it can't hurt.
The Song: You can find the full song and lyrics here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cbYGomf2BEU). You needn't worry about music, if you get the part, you will be sent an instrumental version of this exact song to record your final version to.
