Project Information: This project is an audio book, entitled “Juunikyu: Number One- Metasoma.” (As you can see from the name, more than one book is going to be produced. Myself and joshtreling are the heads of this project.
Synopsis: Shoku is one of the 12 Zodiak: the Gemini. He lives for nothing more than to know where the powers known as Zodiak originated and how he can get rid of it all for good. But this isn’t an easy task for him to undertake, for there are 11 others like him around the world; each deadly in their own way, and each having their own plans and views of the world. As well as having to worry about the other 11 Zodiaks hidden among the people of this world, he also begins to doubt his control over his own powers. Can Shoku eliminate this threat, and stop himself from succumbing to what he fights against, or will he fall before the powers that stand along his path?
Audition information: No deadline yet; we intend to post when all the roles have been cast, and move forward from that point. Lines for the characters will be provided below. If we are interested, Josh will contact you. You will have an improvised conversation with him as the character you are auditioning for.

NARRATOR. We are looking for somebody who has good pronunciation/enunciation and has the ability to read emphatically. If you are interested, please e-mail us, and we will send you what you will be reading.
WHITE COAT SURGEON. (42)
Bio: A very unnerving person; very pale and strange looking. Always nervous and excitable about the operations he/she is always about to perform. This character only has a few lines.
Voice Type: Very scratchy and nervous. Has the “upper-class” tinge to his/her voice.
Audition Line 1: “Although, it is regrettable that you will not be joining me in seeing the results of your surgery, hm?”
Audition Line 2: “Alright, bring him through.”
SHOKU ZUNOO. (20)
Bio: Shoku is one of the 12 Zodiak-empowered people of the world; his Zodiac power is that of the Gemini. He is split in personality, as the Gemini sign is mainly duality. His normal persona (“the Castor state”) is extremely boring, dull, and sarcastic; however he is incredibly smart and agile. In this state, he is mortal, and can be wounded at any given moment. He is also incredibly talented in the use of the sword he possesses (which is a long claymore.) His other persona (“the Pollux state”) is not out of his mind; no, he has NO control of it. Insanity beyond insanity, as some would say. He is highly vicious, fully of witty one-liners (which are less witty and more of sick) and enjoys talking to himself quite a bit. He always has a “smile,” and very constant, twisted, dark laughter. While in this state, Shoku is immortal and cannot be damaged; he does have some talent with a blade, and extremely unpredictable movement.
Voice type: “Castor state” requires a dull, boring, sarcastic voice; very depressing… almost monotone. “Pollux State” is full of excitement; constant laughter, madness-indulged. It bounces from high-pitched to low pitched every now and then.
Audition Line 1: (Pollux State.) “You try to cut me open, then try to give me a headache? What kind of people are you?” *Twisted laughter.*
Audition Line 2: (Castor State.) “All of you; I hope you rest in peace… I’m sorry.”
HEAD OF SECURITY. (32)
Bio: He’s that everyday guy who secretly hates his job. He ends up having to attempt to contain a certain escaping inmate.
Voice Type: Raspy, smoker.
Audition Line 1: (Shouting.) “Don’t let him pass; all of you, contain him. AT ONCE!”
Audition Line 2: (Terrified, almost in tears.) “The inmates’ lockers are just before the exit.
