There are times where it can be a real hassle trying to acquire voices for characters, Some of course may have just the right amount of voices need to make a full hack, and others only to be made into character calls and wiimotes sfx. I don't know when, but usually there is always a method that can rip the impossible but for some games that has little to no voices for characters are at a loss.
So this would eventually lead to having the whole character a mute and even though some are okay with that, but for me that's like playing brawl with just music in the background. If I wanted to, I would replace every voice that wasn't english to english with someones voice, but not every new character can get a proper voice when their is no good way of ripping them out of games.
Then came Rina-chan. Well known on the internet, liked and loved for what she does and I'am a fan of her work, I even went to buy Luminous Arc 2 because she was in that since Luminous Arc to Arc Rise Fantasia is my favorites. But that's something else entirely, the real reason for this thread is to find more like her. Boys or Girls, Women or Men who be willing to offer voice talents for characters who only has a non-english dubbed voice.
There are many character imports that would need a custom voice for some characters, some can be awesome impersonations like Jack Harvest's "Mario Brawl Announcer", Rina's "Female Announcer" Peach/Zelda/ZSS voice. to FutureMal's "Brawl Announcer". These are voice of people "willing" to lend their voice to Smash Bros. Brawl and they didn't even ask for anything in return.
We may need people like this for characters who need a proper voice. So the best place to start will be at the Voice Acting Alliance Forum or Youtube. Either complete beginners or known abridgers and even voice actors/actresses like Rina-chan can take part in this. But only if your comfortable in having your heard by many people and can take criticism in performance.
This is the first time I'm getting into this, but I think I can jot down the bare basics of What you'll need:
A good Headset and Microphone
A good Audio editing and Recording program
A good place where there be no interference or unwanted acoustics while recording

SmashBox v0.57: "http://brawltools.googlecode.com/files/SmashBox v0.57.zip" or BrawlBox.
I don't need anything personal but a username and your voice and you will be credited for your work. I will try my best on my side to get any sound samples in the proper frequencies, volume and size for the characters you want over. :)
I will also provide the link the the SFX IDs so that people will understand what they will voice and explanations on what the actions are in both PSA and Smashbox v0.57.
I will also extract the original waves from the sound.brsar files of the characters to let people here the voices and use it as a example:
-This would be an example-
"wave 15" in mario's sound bank is called "nsnd_vc_mario_FuraFura" which is his stun or dizzy voice. For the character that is imported over mario, the actor/actress will be imitating or making a new dizzy voice for the imported character over mario.
Do multiple takes of the same voice and see which ones you like, then once you've selected all voice samples through process & elimination, pack them all up in a zip folder with a text readme.txt say the character your voicing and who its over.
I will then get to work on fixing frequency and or volume problems, so that the waves will fit properly inside the sound.brsar file. Once inserted, tested and revised, I will create a sawndsz file and place it in the OP here and in my sfx OP in the music/sfx thread.
For those who can't use SmashBox, I will also be learning my self on how to use an earlier version of Brawlbox so that I can walk through people who wants to learn how to make their own sounds and how to use Sawndz if they can't get in contact with Jaklub or use the help section within the latest Sawndz program for further guidance.
Pikmin and Olimar is not allowed and if there are other characters that has a small file size, then I will be sure to list them. You may use any range of accents you want whatever and if you must use profanity for a evil or intimidating character, make sure you take in account that not everyone here is at a mature age and becareful when using it around other and the specific target audience you want your download to be downloaded by.
