Season 2 (City of Brambles) focuses on the changes in the world 15 years after the events of City of Wymyn. Damiana is all grown up and no longer the only mythological creature in the neighborhood. With all of these changes the locals have gotten nervous and violence against faries is starting to rise. Leading the charge against them is a mysterious political figure with high aspirations and deadly secrets.


I am looking for a wide range of vocal talent who will be flexible with changing schedules. We will try to update the show every other week, but I'm a full time student and this is a free podcast. Updates tend to get a bit sporadic around holidays and exams. I'm very flexible with my actors and will provide you with feedback if you ask me for it.

Bio: Charismatic politician who drives a wedge between faries and humans in order to further his own political aspirations

Audition line 1: Lono, my campaign is fueled by the reasonable fear that people have of these creatures, how much longer do you think they will fear them if all of their children are dancing to one of them?
Audition line 2: ) These beasts, with their magic and offset moral code scoff in the face of decent human beings! They take the places of our beloved children and spouses; they haunt the woods and blight livestock.

Age: 20
Bio: Cool headed boyfriend of Stacy, Rein would prefer a non-violent approach to human-fairy relationships.
Voice type: Young, eager, medium
Audition line 1: We shouldn’t be giving authorities any reason to come down on us Stacy, you know Arbor hates us, don’t give him a reason to think we’re up to no good.
Audition line 2: She’s off gathering scrap metal for her creations. I ran into your manager outside, he said you should be ready to go on stage in a few minutes.

Age: 20-45
Bio: Arbor's right hand man and happy doer of dirty deeds. (A sociopath hired to do sociopath things)
Voice type: Menacing except while talking to his boss. Medium
Audition line 1: You can stop screaming for help, this room is soundproofed and in the middle of nowhere. Even if someone was looking for you they wouldn't know to look here. Now, how about a lovely Glasgow smile?
Audition line 2:I may report to Arbor, but I answer to no one.

Bio: The daughter of Pan is all grown up and a famous musician. She is aware of the plight of the other fae but reluctant to get involved.
Voice type: Musical, medium
Audition line 1: Ariana, it's good to see you again. How is Devlin? Any changes? (SAD) I swear sometimes I see him in my dreams.
Audition line 2: (Shocked and upset) I haven't stopped looking over my shoulder since it happened, and all I want to know is why. Why would anyone be so horrible to my friends? Why would someone torture and kill my band?

Bio: An ice elemental, sister to Celosia, current leader of the rebellion
Voice type: Cool, smooth, collected, medium
Audition line 1: Don’t worry, you’re among friends here. My sister and I were fortunate, fire and ice elementals are easy to figure out, but we’re among the minority. Most of the fae arriving seem to be younger than the old legends.
Audition line 2: My queen! Please do not turn your back on us now! Your court is here and we are dying!

Name: Jael
Age: 17
Bio: Young fairy girl who is furious at the world.
Voice type: young, stern, medium to high
Audition line 1: She says she’s only a place holder until the high king or queen is found, but you’d be hard pressed to find someone among us who wouldn’t follow her into hell.
Audition line 2: Yeah, a bunch of the older ones are big on ancient legends, Avalon, Nod, Tir Na Nog. The rest of us are just tired of being pushed around and threatened.

Age: ??
Bio: Eira's fire elemental sister, she was once captured and tortured and has since become unglued.
Voice type: chaotic, hot, angry medium-high
Audition line 1: It's not enough to watch the world burn, you have to set it on fire, and then put it out with an even hotter flame.
Audition line 2: Yes, let's all play pretend army! I'll get a gun and tell everyone to leave me in peace, why hasn't anyone ever thought of that before?

Bio: Ariana's daughter, twin sister to Alban

Audition line 1: Mom told me that dad has other children you know. We have brothers who are also twins, and they don't know about us at all.
Audition line 2: Why is it that all you can think about is destruction? Dad was an artist, not just a wizard, he created things. But you wouldn't understand that, would you Alban? All you want to do is fight.
