Okay, everyone, I apologize but I am unfortunately putting this project on the back burner of my list of projects. I just have too many things I need to do first and I want to put a lot of my effort (that I don't have right now into commit to it.) I am very sorry those who were interested in this! I will save your auditions. I have a few that really good! I may do a shorter song like Bengara Koushi as I have already scouted out a potential Gin and Hinamori and maybe Toshiro,

Hello everyone, this is going to be my first voice and visual project and basically my first attempt at directing people. I thought I'd start slow and see where I am from there, so to start off. I have been dubbing mostly openings to anime shows for awhile, when I saw Bleach Musical, I loved them, not that they were corny, though at times they could be, and their dialogue visuals was a little jarring at times, but it was over all enjoyable for me, especially the songs. It's what we all remember about these performances. (those who have seen them) So this is my project for you all! The dubbing of the Bleach Musical songs!

I thought I'd start with one song and see how well that goes and if it is well received I might be tempted to do another, but anyway, on with the part that I need help with, voice singing specifically!

-I will need people who are confident singers (you don't need to have taken lessons or be professional, but just know that you can stay on pitch and key while singing)

-good mic (recording equipment) No Puffs, background noise, etc.

-Be committed (don't audition then if you are cast I never am able to reach you.)

Byakuya Kuchiki:
bio: age- mid to late 30s, Rukia's brother-in-law, and Captain of the Sixth Squad of Soul Society. He is very strict when it comes to following the laws of Soul society, and will follow them even if it is against what he truly believes is right. He is very stoic, rarely showing emotion in the musical, except for the fact that he wants to sing, and unfortunately rarely gets to.

Renji Abarai:
age-late teens/early 20s
bio: is Rukia's childhood friend and the current Lieutenant of the 6th Division, serving under his captain, Byakuya Kuchiki. His visual distinction are a series of black tribal tattoos that cover most of his face and body, given to him by his zanpakuto, Zabimaru, as he became stronger. Hot-headed and stubborn, he is driven by his desire to protect his friends and to surpass Byakuya Kuchiki. Initially an enemy, he becomes a good friend of Ichigo's and one of his rivals.
Voice type: tenor-baritone, lightly gruff and wild but still holds a little controlled and commanding

GIn Ichimaru:
age- mid 30s
bio-the captain of the 3rd Division at the start of the series. Gin's personality is aloof and sarcastic, and seems to be the type of person who likes to rile other people up - not because of what he says, but rather, because of what he doesn't say. Gin is someone who can insult you without actually uttering anything but pleasantries. Gin is almost always shown with a large self satisfied grin on his face, no matter the situation, only dropping it when he must feign concern, or he is confused.
Voice type: Medium, Tenor, Very smooth and sly, almost like you're keeping a secret that you enjoy taunting people with like the phrase "I know something you don't know"

Izuru Kira:
age: early-mid 20s
bio: the lieutenant of the 3rd Division. He is also formerly a member of the 5th Division and 4th Division. Kira's Zanpakutō is Wabisuke roughly "The Apologizer", translated in the English manga as "the penitent one". The shikai command is "raise your head" Though Kira is unconditionally loyal to his friends as well as Captain Ichimaru, he often places his duties as a lieutenant above them. He defends his captain.
voice type: tenor, youthful, nervous, a very little stutter/ has a hidden confidence yet to be discovered)

Kenpachi Zaraki:
age: mid 40s?
bio: Kenpachi lives for battle (evidenced by his method of attaining his rank) and enjoys a good fight more than anything. He even weakens himself in an effort to make any fight last longer. He also claims that injury and death are nothing but the price one pays for a good fight. Despite his group being the most bloodthirsty of the Gotei 13, they have their own code of ethics, different from the set rules of Soul Society, fitting with Kenpachi's portrayal as a free spirit. On various occasions, he is seen putting fun before work.
voice type: bass/ low baritone, very gruff almost gravally

Ikkaku:
bio: the 3rd Seat of the 11th Division. He is a battle-loving man with a bald head. He fought and was defeated by Kenpachi Zaraki sometime in the past, though was strong enough to survive the battle. He shares a number of similarities with his captain such as seeking enjoyment in battles by risking his life. He is reportedly the second strongest man in the division. Though strong enough to take a position as a captain, Ikkaku insists his one mission in life is to die under the command of Zaraki.
age: mid 20s
voice type: tenor, eccentric and very proud, mature but still has a wild, youthful air that refuses to age

age: early 20s
bio: the captain of the 2nd Division and also the current Commander in Chief of The Secret Remote Squad. She is a hard worker who believes strongly in following orders. She is also outwardly antagonistic to her underlings as she believes this keeps them on their toes. She is a serious no nonsensical leader.
voice type: alto/low soprano monotone, serious,

Kaname Tousen:
bio: the captain of the 9th Division at the start of the series. He has been blind since birth, but is capable of using his spiritual sense to "see". Tōsen is an extremely calm and serious pacifist, though he will not restrain from fighting for what he believes in or to preserve justice. His philosophies were adopted from a peaceful friend he had before becoming a Soul Reaper. When the peaceful friend's husband killed her for nagging him, Tōsen became disillusioned that such a righteous person could be killed for such an insignificant reason. After the murder, his creed in life became "take the path with the least bloodshed".

Voice type: baritone, calm, focused

Shuhei Hisagi:
bio: the lieutenant of the 9th Division. As a child he was saved by the then 9th Division captain, Kensei Muguruma. In later years Shūhei has a "69" tattoo on the left side of his face, matching the one Kensei has on his stomach. Shūhei is an extremely mature and calm individual, allowing him to get along well with his captain, Kaname Tosen.
age: early/mid 30s
voice type: baritone, calm, focused, a bit lower than Tousen

Sosuke Aizen:
bio: Aizen's public image was that of a bespectacled intellectual whose humility and warmth were equalled only by his dedication to the Gotei 13. However, it eventually became apparent that this was a carefully crafted facade designed to draw suspicion away from his true, sinister nature. While he appears to treat his subordinates with kindness and compassion, he views them as little more than pawns in reality.
age: late/early 40s
Voice type: Baritone, laidback and calm,

Momo Hinamori
bio: the lieutenant of the 5th Division. She is an upbeat and easy-going girl who is generally quite trusting, if not naive. Being the only one to have stayed with the division, Hinamori greatly admired Aizen; it is because of her deep admiration and respect for him that she is in deep shock and denial after he tries to kill her and subsequently betrays the Soul Society.

voice type: Soprano, a little childlike, innocent

Ritsu Unohana:
bio: the captain of the 4th Division. She is a soft-spoken lady who never displays distress even in the most perilous situations and when situations prove demanding, she usually responds with sharp-minded thinking. She uses honorifics when addressing everyone, including her subordinates. Though she is always polite to her patients and subordinates, her mere presence will scare her charges into submission if they try to leave her care before they are fully healed.
age: early 40s
voice type: low Soprano, soft and breathy, sung very much like a lullaby told to a child by a mother

Hanatarou:
bio: the 7th Seat Officer of the 4th Division and the leader of its 14th Relief Squad. Hanatarō is very timid and nervous, mostly he isn't thinking about what he's doing. He tends to be clumsy and easily duped. Despite his character, he is shown to be very talented in healing and treating including displaying boldness at times.
age: early teens/15?
voice type: Tenor (alto), boyish, happy-go-lucky, a little bouncy

She is strong willed and confident in her actions, but will often go head first without thinking into battle. She is proud of her friends and with defend them all with her dying breath.

Voice type: medium, alto, proud and confident, strong but also kind

Rangiku Matsumoto:
bio: the lieutenant of the 10th Division. She often avoids her duties as a lieutenant so that she can go shopping or drinking with her fellow lieutenants. She usually uses her beauty, or her famously exposed cleavage and large breasts to gain attention or to manipulate others to get what she wants. Despite avoiding her responsibilities, Rangiku is very serious and thoughtful when carrying out her duties as a lieutenant and often her peers and subordinates look to her for important advises.
age: early 30s
voice type: low Soprano/high alto, flirty, lofty and airy (like you want to dance along with her part, or at least move like she does in the aforementioned video)

Toshiro Hitsugaya:
bio: the captain of the 10th Division and the youngest captain in the history of Soul Society. Hitsugaya maintains an extremely mature, and almost unflappable persona, while it is hinted that he was a bit of a "wild boy" type character before becoming a soul reaper. He finds it especially annoying when people call him by his given name, or omit his honorific title when addressing him.
age: about 15/16
voice type: Tenor, very serious and mature, but at the same time boyish and easy to anger (singing this part will be getting more angry by the end of the part)

No, I wasn't planning on dubbing it Japanese since it well already is sung in Japanese. I am only doing this in english. I think because the actors in the video are on a stage they are expected to project but since we are most likely going to be close behind microphones than just singing at the normal level is fine.

Really? I would love to hear you! and I do want to emphasis to everyone, as of now, you don't have to sing the english part of the song, you may sing the Japanese only, If you feel comfortable enough to sing the english you may but right now it will not be required for auditions!

No, you don't have to sing all the parts, you can just sing one part of the song, and I will put you under who's part I feel your voice best matches. So say you sing Aizen's part, but I think the voice is more suited for, for instance, Tousen or Renji, I will put your name in line for Tousen and Renji. Does that clear it up a little...?

Ok, I see Bleach, Musical and Singing all in the same project, but I don't see a bunch of people trying?

Almost scary, the other males that have tossed their hats into the ring all seem to be suited for similar voices. I'm tempted to toss in an extra to see if I could do the lower voices as well.
