I was surfing the you tube for some helpful low budget ways to do voice overs,and I happen to come across this.

Also, google "Owens Corning 703" which is a type of rigid fiberglass insulation...it's the perfect thing for making baffles to hang on your walls to cut down reverb and echo. You can cover it in cloth so you don't get fiberglass everywhere, and make a simple wood frame to hold it.
