What are the type of characters do you most identify with? As in, who can you really get into when you act as them?

As in who we can really get into their shoes when we act as them?
Motherly characters I guess since I've had strong motherly instincts most of my life.
Smart/intelligent characters since I value knowledge.
And then any character that likes or can potentially like one of my bishies identifies with my fangirl side XD

Yeah that. I'll add that ^^'

For me, I find it easier to connect to the brash often times wild protagonist character. Ones that could start off immature and violent only to go through a massive character arc coming out as a kind and just person.

I also find it fun to play the textbook anti-hero, the darker types that are doing the right thing the wrong way. Using murder, chaos, deceit and pure force to obtain "Justice"

Really over-the-top characters since I, myself, tend to be random and loud most of the time.
Angry characters too, cause I have a LOT of pent-up anger.

I love being the voice of reason characters. I've always been that type of person in my group of friends where I keep everyone under control and contain situations so I feel like I can get into those types of roles much better.

Goofy characters, and sharply spoken/angry characters are probably the easier characters to get into. Though, I'm starting to get the hang of energetic characters.

I really like playing the type of villain that is mostly calm, cool, and collected, but in moments of extreme stress or triumph, they act insanely. It's just really easy to improvise as that type of character for me.

I also like playing the naive hero type that acts sort of air-headed most of the time, but in dire situations, they become awesome (sometimes for trivial reasons).

Lol were those too specific?

Young teenage voices. Specifically artemis fowl type voices.

I like being the chill, maybe humorous side character. I may not be the focal point, but I'll come in, do something awesome and then be on my merry way. :P

I like doing characters who despite being with the forces of good have a certain darkness to their voice. An example of this would be Ike: Jason Adkins gave him a nice, deep hero sound. Those are really wonderful.

Easiest to get into for me are characters from literature with whom I'm familiar. Playing Javert from Les Misérables was incredible because I got to take the voice in my head that I heard whenever I read his lines from the book and actually embody it and share it with the world.

I guess I should say that I identity more-so with the insane and firm characters. I'm not saying I'm insane myself but despite the characters very clear madness. You can't quite help but understand where they're coming from because often times more then not the ideas of a madman ended up changing the way we do things in our modern world. So we all need a little insanity in our lives. :)

Those are the kinds of characters I really enjoy playing.

Agreed. Insanity is the spice of life. =]

I find that I can get into all my characters so long as I know enough about them.
So how they act around friends, their responses.
Even just "They're cold to everyone" will give me enough room to make them me.

Loud, boisterous characters, among insane ones. I can never bring myself to do anything super serious...
I always end of screaming, laughing, etc. ><

Old people, nerds, and monsters. They are the most fun to do.

Anyone from age 15 - 17 is essentially what my natural range is made up of. I am capable of going higher to play younger characters, although there is a slight limit to how high pitched I can go without killing the naturalness to my acting.

Which characters do I really get into?
I find that I most identify with characters who have a firm belief in something, and are passionate about it.
For example, Hiyori from Bleach is one of my favorites to act as. She's always fiery, but there's a REASON behind her lack of trust and her anger.
There's been one particular audition that I have done recently that I'd really like to get, a princess who's VERY passionate about her beliefs and purpose.

So yeah. Determined characters. Usually with attitudes.
