Hey everyone! I just started recording my voice for fun and I use Audacity thanks to this forum. I still dont know how to use it but im getting better. I was hoping you guys could critique these two voice works I made? I did not edit for pops, hisses or anything. All I did was hit record haha and some cutting.

Just gave this a listen, and have to admit I wasn't expecting it to be very good. I was actually really impressed however, as it sounds like you have a nice mic to work with and your enunciation and deliveries are actually quite clear and good. I think the best thing to focus on now is interpretation, especially with the characters voices. Really focus on why the characters would be saying those lines and what makes them each unique. Also, maybe try to analyze ways to make that come across as effectively as possible in the way you deliver your lines. I think you've got a lot of potential here, so I hope to see how you improve in future =D

You have an awesome voice! If you seriously want to commit to voice acting... well you already have a great mic from what I heard... All I would suggest is a nice pop filter. I got a great double filter for only $30 on sweetwater.com.
If you just like this as a hobby than I'd say just keep practicing and maybe you'll find you want to take it further.

I really appreciate the help you guys. I just started doing this an am borrowing my friends BLUE YETTI microphone. I used a sock and talked away from the mic for round two. I also tried to add a bit more emotion and content. I only did some special effects, not much.
Here is round two :)
