Well, I'm new to the forum, you can call me Red. I've been voice acting for around a year. Though I've been told I'm not good at it I've managed to get some roles over Youtube on Sims series. I'm actually quite happy with the progress I've made, but everyone can improve. I use to only have 2 primary voices when I first started and I've been able to widen my range though I still have troubles with the acting part. I'm hoping to pick up tips and maybe even get more roles as soon as I feel I've gotten good enough to make a demo for myself.

Welcome!
As you probably already know, the best way to develop your skills is to put yourself out there...audition, then audition, then audition some more...that way, you'll learn what your strengths and weaknesses are, based on the rudimentary nature of your voice and your current range, and you'll learn how to choose roles that suit you and emphasize those strengths. That being said, don't be afraid of a challenge, and if the director(s) or producer(s) are offering critiques, take them with careful attention and grace!

Yes, auditioning. I've done around 50 auditions on Youtube, still counting. Sadly, the only critiques I've gotten were from a random guy who said that my voice was flat and that my microphone sucked.
Both quite true, from what I can tell. But I am working on it!
