RULES!
The first rule of mafia is that we don’t talk about mafia outside the game!
The second rule of mafia is that we don’t reference tired pop-culture jokes unless we are elad!
The third rule of mafia is that we HAVE FUN! =]

Okay, but seriously (err... sorta).

Please don’t communicate with other players about the game unless your role explicitly states that you may do so. Duuhhh.
Role-claiming is NOT disallowed, but bear in mind that it’s not usually a very good strategy. (I’m not the honesty police, either. So if IntoRapture--crafty chick that she is--faux-claims as Al-Cid Margrace, TOWN PIMP, I’m not gonna say yea or nay.)
Please be as active as possible! I know we all have lives outside of mafia, but it’s important to have activity within the game in order for things to go smoothly. People who are inactive for two consecutive day phases will be modkilled, yo.
Don’t be afraid to ask me about your character if you’re not familiar with this game. I’ve got YouTube reference videos coming out of my ears.

As the sun begins to rise over the Estersand and the city of Rabanastre stirs to life, a small group of mismatched travelers meet in the Sandsea Tavern and pour over a worn and tattered map of Ivalice. Callused fingers trace routes across the paper, spanning from Dalmasca to Archadia, as they plot their next course of action.

“How long will it take to fix the Strahl?”

“Too long.”

“We can move north through the Salikawood--that may be our swiftest option.”

“That would take us too close to the Deadlands for comfort. Graveyards aren’t well-known for their hospitality.”

Suddenly, a pale-faced Penelo races down the stairs and into the main room of the tavern, clutching a note. “Guys, look!” she cries, handing the bit of paper off to Basch, who examines it closely.

“It says ‘Surrender, pawns of the Occuria, or perish.’”

“Who could have sent that--and how could they get in our rooms?”

“How could they even know about the Occuria? Unless...”

“It seems as though we’ve a viper in our midst.”

IT IS NOW DAY ONE.

DAY WILL END AT 10AM EST.

WITH NINE ALIVE, IT TAKES FIVE TO AUTO-LYNCH.

After looking around the pub and questioning the barkeep, Tomaj, the party retreats back upstairs to check their companion's room. Ashe knocks on the door, before pushing it open.

In unison, everyone flinches away from the grisly sight, and Fran wrinkles her nose against the stench of blood.

"N-Noo!!" Vaan cries.

i went to go investigate namanda last night and i was brutally attacked and barely managed to get out of there with my life. i could be wrong but my hunch is to be wary of her.

Sorry, town... I tried to keep the game kinda balanced and give mafia a fighting chance, and ended up making them totally superpowered when all the non-vanillas got killed off right away. :[
