May I ask...how can you SOUND more like the Japanese VA? I'm not trying to be rude or anything, it just seemed a little...odd...
Aren't we supposed to at least have our own uniqueness?
NA voice actors don't actually "sound" like japanese actors, but they have to bring the character to life, remember? the personality and everything....

Honestly, I don't think everyone is trying to act like the English VA, and the only characters that pissed me off were Serena's and Amy's VA. God, do you remember that? I think Amys voice is unique...I really wish she did the S series, and the original actress for Sailor Moon (Terri Hawkes) was on maternal leave. x__x sucks.

If this seems offensive, I apologize...I just wanted to make sure I didn't misunderstand the post.

I believe what the producer means is that she wants auditioners to portray them in a similar way the Japanese voice actors portrayed them. As in, she'd rather have you sound similar to the Japanese voices than the North American dub voices. That's my interpretation.

I blame bad scripting and poor picking. face it...most companies want MONEY. =P

Since this seems like a nice, small project, I'll try auditioning sometime soon. I'm guessing Chibiusa doesn't have many lines, right? ^^;

Awesome! Thank you all! What I meant was try to sound more closer to the Japanese VAs instead of the NA ones. They scare me. XD And I might put up pictures once Star_Healer sends me the episdodes. (It takes FOREVER to rip, about 5-6 hours for both... and then I have to download it all! X.X)
