CASTING INFORMATION - Please read!

Well, this was extremely tough. So many great auditions, and less roles to fill. As much as I would've loved to include everyone, I simply couldn't. Honestly, I made myself sick over this (I feel so guilty @~@), and I've thought long and hard about it. (Huge thanks to my friend Hane to help with the judging.) I'm so sorry to all the people I had to turn down. If you're curious about some things with the casting process, I'll explain... ^_^;

-First and foremost, double-casting (or more) did take place, but not without reason. I focused solely on who did the best with each character they auditioned for; not on which people did the best overall. Some of you guys did great with multiple characters, so if I felt you did best at more than one role, it would only be fair to give them to you.

-To be extra-cautious, each of the four main characters has two understudies. This may seem like an unncessary measure, but in every project I've been part of, people have needed replacing at one point or another - either due to time constraints and missed deadlines, lack of interest, or disappearances. I want to have enough back-ups to make SURE this goes off without a hitch.

-It is REQUESTED that all primary cast members JOIN THE YAHOOGROUP. This will help everyone stay updated on the project status and deadlines, and allow for big group discussions on things that may come up throughout.

Again, thank you to EVERYONE who auditioned. You were all so wonderful; and you have no idea how happy your interest has made me! To those not cast, good luck in your future endeavors; you're all great!

Also, if anyone is curious - I'll be getting some extra help for the casting process, so as to make it unbiased. :) I'm enlisting the help of 1-2 people who aren't on the VAA boards, but know the series very well, so don't worry about me judging everything by myself. :3 I promise it'll be as fair as possible. Man I've been waiting for another naruto fandub to pop up, I'm totally gonna audition for most of the male voices, hope you like atleast some of them. But I got a quick question, in the audition's is it important to match the mouth flaps and speed of the japanese line's precisely or is it ok if we dont get it dead on seeing that it is for auditioning and not for the direct use on the project. I think in any fandub , it would be well thought out to do that, if you have the episode on you. But considering most don't I wouldn't think it would be expected of you. This goes for all fandubs in general, so keep that in mind when auditioning for other projects. Basically with auditions, lines are used to find voices that suit vocally, but emotionally. I hope that clears some questions.

No, it's not expected for the auditions. ^_^ But if you get cast for a role with more than a few lines, you'll be expected to re-record to match your vocals to the mouth movements. :3
