You're cramming the whole damn thing and you think that's singing? Wow, incredible. No wonder why Youtubers gave you more dislikes than likes. Believe me, I can do a whole lot better.

How about you make a video or two yourself before you start trolling, Ight Brah?

That's so rude of you!
If you don't like this, could you at least be friendly?

Although I think Sk8erPrince was a total ass towards you, AshawottVA, I have to agree that it was not that great.
It's obvious that you have never sang before. I don't know exactly how you voice act and such, but from just listening to the clip, it seems to me that you're having trouble breathing from the diaphragm, since I do not feel any power in the voice, and the breathing is the key to that. Your vocal chords also seem to be quite restrained, since the melody does not come out naturally when you sing.
When singing you're supposed to feel bigger than everyone and everything else. You are the center of attention, after all. What I mean by that, is that your body must be relaxed so that you have a lot of room to breath in and out without feeling like your voice gets stuck in your throat. You also need to practice scales and warm up your vocal chords so that you will have no problem following the notes of the song. If you are getting soar because your vocal chords are tautening themselves too much, then the song might not be in the right scale for you. Not everyone has the same range, therefore some songs will be extremely hard to pull off than others for different persons. Of course, this can change the more you keep practicing (did for me).
If you know someone who can sing, you can try and ask them for tips. Also, don't be disheartened by the negative responces. I have done my fair share of bad songs, over the years, but I got better. If you have the will to keep working on it, I am sure you be able to overcome your weaknesses.

Yeah this was about a year or so ago when I was still new to everything so was not sure what to do. But have been learning more about voice work and singing.

That ain't trolling. I'm just straight out with the truth. And yes, I can definitely do a WHOLE lot better. I will get a few videos up once I am finished recording my singing.

Rude? How about you start telling the truth to him instead of friendly? If it's bad, it's bad. There's nothing more to say to it. I rather not tell lies and go straight out with the truth.
Remember - you can't like someone's singing if he's not even near to the very basics of singing.
And also - I bet you don't know, but I am a music critic, lyrics writer and a moderate singer (Not the best, of course).
I can prove that I'm much more professional to singing. You guys just wait for my videos to be posted up here.

Yo, mind it. That ain't assin' around, it's called 'straight out with the truth'. But at least you're honest about his 'singing'.
Ashawott, yes? Ya gotta know the differences between crammin' and singin'. If you still fail to tell the differences by now, just quit it, ya? Also, ever heard of Audacity/Adobe Audition? If you continue to cram instead of sing, please use these audio programs. At least that can fix your cramming...

A few things, Sk8erPrince. See the difference between your comment and mine? I actually gave constructive criticism, while you did not. Also, you were acting sarcastic and claimed to be a whole lot better, when your singing has nothing to do with this video. It makes you look like a prick. Plus, people will become very cynical towards your videos after reading your comment, so unless you are the next Michael Jackson or have some really good talent at singing, you're not very likely to get a good reception.
I await your video. Let's see how good you actually are.

Well, Frozen Death Night already everything.
This cover is bad, yes. But why don't you just say it normally? Why do you have to act up like a kid and insult him?
I'm totally fine, if you just say the truth. It's good if you are an honest person, that's for sure.
Though please try to stay professional and mature while leaving critism.
I mean I'm not the only one, who sais that you did something wrong. Why don't you just accept that you made a mistake?
Everybody does mistakes! I hope you've learned your lesson.^^
I'm looking forward to your singing~ :D

Yes, everybody does mistakes, but I didn't. There's nothing wrong with telling the truth, ya? As I've said before, I'm a music critic, and this is how I make comments. I can be really mean or really nice depending on how the singer performs.

Yes, I do. But like I've said before, I'll just say the truth. Nothing more. Well, I don't claim myself to be some music king like good 'ol passed away Michael or something, 'cause I'm just some kind of sarcastic moderate singer. Yep - just moderate. I don't need a good reception - just tell me the truth when I post my video, OK? Don't tell me lies. I need you to be honest with my singing.
Upcoming cover: Kinome Wind
Anime: Hayate The Combat Butler Season I - ED4
Original Artist: Iku
Oh, and: I have a better English cover of Easy Go. It'll be posted up soon.
PS: I'm a male, so don't expect any female voices.

That kind of attitude does not exactly sit well with people, even the ones who know their stuff. Also, I would not call you a good critic, since decent critics actually provide in-depth analyzis why something is good/bad/etc. Many times they can give tips on how to make something better.
I was being honest without stirring up a lot of unnecessary drama like you did. I see no reason why you could not do the same. There are other ways to say it's bad without insulting. Considering how close people can be on a site like this, making enemies would not exactly help your cause to enjoy the fruits of this particular community.
I get that you want to be honest, but at least be a bit more smooth the next time you want to give someone a piece of your mind. It would make you a lot more respected, too.

Just let him be. He's probably not gonna change his mind.
It's hard to believe, but I guess there really are some people,
who are that stubborn and unrepentant.

Nope - I'm going to change my ways in terms of criticizing. I apologize that I was stubborn in the past, but hey, people change, right?
I've completed my cover. Take a look and comment, please.

One thing i learned about Translating/Converting JPN's songs is sometimes their lyrics just don't make since it sounds good but when you read your like wha?? "sing to a ball and kick it" ??? but the best thing to do is not to try to sing in the same rythem as they do cause some of their words are longer than needed so tr to make your own rythem to the music that what i do..
Good Job by the way
