Nice to see you posting something new. I'll have to take a listen to this when I'm out of work and I have volume.

Hey, thanks for the quick post Adam. =) It's been a little while since we've chatted, though we never really did have a deep conversation or anything. x_x

Lol. So I watched them. It's pretty good so far. Though I'm curious as to when you're going to take this animatics and make a full animated episode. The voice acting is solid from what I've heard so far, though I'm curious as to why only parts of the dialog is voiced when the majority remaining isn't.

Overall it has a lot of potential if it's kept up with. The animatics are just a teaser, you're doing a good job pulling people in with them, but eventually they'll want to see something full haha.

As far as the conversation topic, well, get your ass on aim or something then haha.

Hey! I didn't know you were still working on this project; we had been talking about it but then I hadn't heard from you in a while. Happy to see you're still working on it, I really had been thinking you had dropped it at this point, so I was really (pleasantly) surprised. XD;;;

solid scene comps and camera framing. you definitely have potential to become a storyboard artist.

as for the music (i've only watched the first vid so far), i especially like the last song of the first vid. reminds me of something from street fighter. lol.

Yes, I agree, there will be many things that people want to see in the future. I'm hoping that people watch it through and get attached to the story, but then again that would probably make them want animation and color even more. Well, it's not in my plans, personally, unless some animation studio took it up. I still want to get my story out there without the need for all of that money, though, so I'm gonna stick with what I've got for now...just my tablet, adobe photoshop and windows movie maker...

Yeah, I know I could probably use a Flash program or any other software than Windows Movie Maker so I could get panning of images, but so far it's worked for what it is.

I think if I did do it as a finished product in the future, I would try it out as a motion comic. The first 4 webisodes have those subtitles on the bottom, which are really annoying to do by hand in Adobe. I thought it'd be a wonderful idea to put them in anyway, at the time I first drew it all. After the first webisodes are through, though, when the first battle picks up, it switches to comic bubbles. I guess it's just two ways of doing storyboards.

From all the feedback I've gotten I can definitely tell that this is a very odd and awkward goal...but I'm gonna continue and see where it takes me for now.

As for AIM, I guess I might have deleted your name from the list in cleaning. I deleted pretty much everyone I had communicated with within the last 3 or 4 years I think, so I have a minimal amount of buddies. So much for that idea, now, though...I just built the list up again. x_x

Hey there, Tomoyo! I remember... we talked in August I think it was. I thought I hadn't recieved your last e-mail, but it ended up that it has gotten buried in spam. That's not just an excuse, I swear, that really happened. x___x

I don't know if I told you before, but I can't drop the project, I've been working on it for more than 5 years. Though I've had a fair share of failures and mistakes along the way. It seems like you're extremely busy, I'll make sure to check some of your new stuff out and leave some feedback, since I'm already eternally grateful that you took the time to post here. x___x'

Hey, thanks 1m.

I love the Street Fighter BGMs, especially the more dramatic tracks like Ryus Theme, and Kens Theme and Guiles Theme. I guess that might sound typical, but I'm a sucker for those minor key battle themes.

I have a battle bgm track coming up in Webisode 5 that I've named Courage, kind of because it feels...courageous....or...something like that...People that listen to that will probably swear it's ripped from some random Street Fighter game...Actually, probably more Final Fantasy than Street Fighter.

But still, Street Fighter's BGM = Win. x_x Ironically enough I had been listening to Street Fighter all last week.

Music: The music is good; however, it feels more like the style of music used on games from Sega Genesis... you know, feels a little sonic like. Which ain't bad, but comes off as a little out of place for the type of project that it is. My BIGGEST complaint is moments WITHOUT music. No voice acting, no music... why am I watching it when I could possibly read it? That is the feeling that comes to mind. In my own personal opinion (and something I exercise) there should always be music going. Even in moments of silence, music tells the tale. It is the single most important element to ANYTHING. Video game, movie, series, audio drama, visual, etc. It tells the audience how they SHOULD feel. It lets the audience know what YOU were feeling when you wrote the scene. And it really emphasizes on attachment and emotion.

Voice Acting: Solid, but comes off as a little flat here and there. REALLY look into getting a full cast. There are SO many people around here with such amazing talents; you should try to scout a few of them and get more variety. Not to mention, they are free~ haha. Randomly hearing voices and then not, can REALLY turn off people. If you hope to get attention and attachment; than your best bet is the audio. Honestly, NOTHING screams attachment as when you can HEAR your cast. Makes you feel for them and understand them a bit better.

Visual: Despite it being sketches, the art is pretty solid. I would love to see it tidied up and colored. Especially would I ever so much love to see some motion! However, I can see how much work that is and that it would be a project in itself. Though even if you arent making money; if you have the time, you can dedicate it to making motion yourself. And if anything, just do it for the fun of it all! Half the stuff I do is to better myself; not really thinking of making money at the moment, but in the long run.

All in all, it is interesting thus far. But I feel a few things here and there could REALLY bring some things out. Because it is hard for me to grow attached or care too much about the characters in this format (without full voice over and a full soundtrack, i feel I would benefit more from reading it in comic form). Now, don't take ANYTHING I say as insulting. I merely want to help out. If I take the time to critique something and I see ANYTHING that could possibly help them, I want to say it. And I feel understanding what people think and feel when watching something will help you imagine what others would think and feel. I like the direction; and I would really love to see you take this series to another level. At the very least, in audio! If you ever wanted some help finding the right VAs, I have enough under my belt I could easily hook you up.

I will stay tuned to future releases!!

And I apologize in advance if I come off as ANYTHING other than helpful! I just suck sometimes when it comes to coming off the wrong way *sweatdrop*

Alright, cool, thanks.

I've PMed you Zankoku....

I've released Webisode 5. I am very proud of this one. It has my favorite song of the first Season's OST, and more effort has been given to having a consistent, clean visual style for the battle scene. As I've said above, the one part I really like is the part where the SFX suck in and it cuts to the bell.

I heard it in ep 5... the bass riff is definitely FF! The first half of the electric guitar reminds me of SF but the second half reminds me of an FF battle.
