About: Blessed is the fantasy epic that takes place a thousand years into the future, where there are nameless cities the size of small countries that hold technology that has advanced far beyond any one?s dreams. A perfect civilization where there is no crime inside the dome-protected cities, lushly full of love for nature and perfect harmony across the globe.
Though, wherever there is light, there is always dark. Wherever there is good, there is evil. And the stronger the good, the stronger the evil. Deep inside a darkness in the depths of the world long forgotten lies an ancient evil, yearning for the strength to be freed.
Every millennium this sleeping evil awakes to try and become strong once again. A powerful being called the Hope remains a constant watcher over this evil, and should it ever arise, she will find those specially chosen few that were born with gifted magic to fight and someday hopefully end this evil. These chosen few are known as the Blessed. Their courageous hearts give them untold power, and with each generation they become stronger--as does the evil. Though their hearts are true, the blessed can be corrupted, should the evil that always dwells inside, hiding from the light become strong enough, they can be changed and be the Cursed by Fate.
It is an ancient battle that goes beyond the flow of time. And with every century that passes, the weak evil becomes stronger and stronger. It has reached it?s final battle, and the Blessed are all that stand in the way of utter destruction and chaos.
Audition Guidelines:
1. Name the audition lines like this: name_character_#.mp3 ie: DA_Bladen_01.mp3.
2. Zip or RAR your files and name the file like this: name_BlessedAuditions.zip/rar
3. Please include a txt with this info: Your stage name (the name everyone would be seeing if you are cast), your email address, any other ways to contact you, and (optional) a link to your resume.
4. Please record your lines 44100 16 bit Stereo. MP3 only. If you cannot make them MP3 contact me.
5. Please try to limit all puffs/taps/poofs, and of course all background noise.
6. This is a radioplay.. Don't be afraid to act all out. ^^ There is a comic availible for viewing so you can actually see what you are acting out. http://studioeternity.com/blessed
7. No Deadline as of yet. I will end audition when I feel I have found the right people for the parts.
8. If you were previously casted in this, and you see your character is up for auditions. A couple factors may have occured. For the reason contact me and we may be able to work something out.

Info: Bladen is very smart and quick on his feet, typically a serious person but very light hearted and easy going when he's with the girls. Sometimes though, Violet scares him a bit. But he cares for Ayako deeply. The trio quickly become close, inseparable friends, fitting like a puzzle. Though he himself is puzzled, wondering why the entire city, the people, and especially the girls feel so familiar to him. Why they fit so well together and seem to know each other inside and out? He himself has a mysterious past, never one to speak of his family or if he even has one. With an equally shady future.
Voice: Low and softly spoken. But when angered he can be very brash.
Line 1: (sly/seductive undertone) Well it wasn't the tour that was so interesting... it's the beautiful company.
Line 2: (as if coming up and scaring people) Hey girls! What's up?
Line 3: (indistress/angered) GET YOUR HANDS OFF OF HER!!!

Info: Lanna is the gossip of the school, always somehow managing to get the word on anything and everything that happens in their fair city. The others often come to her for information on things or people. Lanna?s trademark hairstyle and hair-balls are always hard to miss around Violet and Ayako. Lanna loves her two best friends dearly, and would do anything for them. But keeping her mouth shut, that?s a different story.
Voice: Medium-High/High Think of an airhead mixed with a little geek

Info: The mysterious being whom guides and leads the Blessed on their quest. Hope serves as not just their leader but as a mentor and almost motherly figure.
Hope is as gentle and kind as a person can be, wise and tough as nails. She is as well very powerful, willing to protect her dear Blessed with her life.
Hope remains a mystery to the Blessed, unsure of their mission, who they are or what they can really do or are meant to do. Hope remains hidden unless needed by the Blessed. Able to appear anywhere from a locker to a mirror.
Hope is a very holy being made of nothing but goodness, and often influences the people around her just by being in her presence. She slowly reveals the mysteries of the Blessed to them, but she herself remains a mystery until the Blessed are ready to know.
One of the greatest mysteries she holds, besides who and what she is, is her connection to her double, Fate. Whom looks exactly like her but is viciously evil.
Voice: Low Motherly like.. Soft
Line 1: (soft/lovingly) Your wish, young Ayako Ayami, has been granted.
Line 2: (explaining) You Aya... are Blessed. One with the power to perform miracles.
Line 3: (soothing/calm) I could never hurt one such as yourself.

Info: Mistress Demonica?s humble servant, completely devoted to her mistress and willing to do anything to please her. Even though Demonica abuses her cruely. Fate is a powerful soldier and very determined.
She is able to walk among the people of earth unnoticed in the body/appearance of Lizza Toya. In this form however, her powers of limited and more often than not, Lizza?s personality will seep through her.
Fate hunts for the remaining Blessed, only three more remains and three that can be corrupted into her own servants of darkness.
Fate appears to hate Hope with a passion, but is never able to kill her if given the chance. The two share an unspoken shame for each other. It is an equal mystery to who or what Fate herself is.
Voice: Medium with a constant evilness
Line 1: (in pain/scared/on the brink of tears) Yes Mistress! I will never call you that again. I swear it!
Line 2: (shocked) But.. But... She is a mere child. How could she possibly..
Line 3: (angry/demanding) If you will not give me the talisman.... Then foolish mortal.... DIE!!!!!!!!

Info: The evil leader of Fate an completely insane. Mistress Demonica is haunted by dreams, visions of her past that she buries inside of herself.
She is extremely powerful and perilously evil. She was driven mad long ago and weakened, forced to live inside a sphere to keep her alive until she has gained enough power to be freed.
Her past is hidden and mysterious, but she has an odd connection to both Fate and Hope. She hates the Blessed who stand in the way of her mission to destroy all life.
Mistress Demonica is an ancient evil, fought by all the generations of Blessed, though none have ever been able to defeat her. Into each generation she grows more and more powerful, soon able to walk among the living and so as she pleases.
Voice: Medium-High/ Anger is always present in her voice.
Line 1: (explaining) You will find the Blessed through your gift of perception Fate. Do not be fooled by size, form, or age.
Line 2: (sarcastic/pity) Poor lost little child... You just don't know what you have gotten yourself into. (evil laugh- a few seconds)
Line 3: (focused) I will not rest until the world is MINE!!!!
