What if I told you there was 25 hours in a day instead of 24? Every night at midnight, a phenomenon called the "Dark Hour" occurs. During the Dark Hour, normal people are transmogrified into coffins, while dark beings called "Shadows" appear. Those not transmogrified are quickly overrun by these Shadows, losing their mind and developing "Apathy Syndrome." You are a member of SEES, the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad, led by the charismatic Mitsuru Kirijo. During the Dark Hour, a tower is erected from Gekkoukan High, their school. The members of SEES, being able to travel and defeat Shadows due to their power to control their "Personas," explore the tower, hoping to find a way to end the Dark Hour and prevent more cases of Apathy Syndrome. Of course, it's never that easy. Between the countless number of Shadows throughout the halls of Tartarus and having to keep up a constant social life at school, there are those who don't want the Dark Hour to end, up to and including Death itself.

2. Inactivity period is 4 in-game days. 3 = Warning. 4 = Modkill.

"Quiet!" she shouted, making the room of people silent. "It has come to my attention through the Kirijo group that information about SEES has been getting leaked out."

"Uh...what kind of info?"

"Not important. Anyways, we must find the culprit. I suggest we vote every day to kill someone."

"Isn't that extreme?!"

"Of course. Would you rather me "execute" random people until someone admits being a spy?"

"We'll meet here every night during the Dark Hour. Now, let's begin."
