View Full Version : [comic, movie] Female voice with Hispanic accent needed

This may be a bit of a longshot, but I was wondering if any of you ladies out there have a good hispanic accent. There's a character in our Superman: The Last Son of Krypton audio serial that we have an actor for, though I'd like someone with a more authentic-sounding accent if possible.

The character is Lupe Leocadio. She's a police lieutenant and a pretty tough cookie. If anyone would like to give it a try, here are some sample lines:

LUPE: Fan out! Establish a perimeter and cordon off the area.

LUPE: Don’t make me regret it, Mr. Olsen. Stay back, and don’t cross the perimeter.

No real preference. I'd say go with whichever one you're the most comfortable with, because that one is bound to sound the best. :)

Not at the moment. We have someone already in the role simply because we couldn't find anyone else, but her hispanic accent isn't very authentic sounding so I was hoping someone else might be interested in helping out.

How soon do you think you could get around to recording the audition lines? The first episode you'd have to do if getting the part I would like to have completed the mixing on by the end of June (and it's only eleven lines). So if you can maybe get me the audition lines in the next couple of weeks and would be able to do the other couple before the end of June (if cast), then that's fine.

She is a recurring character, and will have more lines in future episodes (we put out one per month, if you aren't familiar with them) so there will be plenty more lines for her in the future. :)

Just let me know when you think you might be able to get the audition lines done and we'll go from there. Thanks!
