What's happening?

Name's David Gornoski. Im the EIC of NintendoNow.com, one of the oldest and largest Nintendo publications in the world. Formerly known as NintendoFire.com, Nintendo Now has been around since 1998. I'm also the EVP of E-mpire Ltd. Co., the parent company of Nintendo Now. E-mpire is one of the largest entertainment networks on the Internet. We cover everything from gaming, music, and sports.

As part of an upcoming humor push, I am in the production stages of an amazing original cartoon series called "Throwback the Duck." It has some of the funniest and charming scripts you'll find in the flash animation world and it has a world class animation team. However, voice acting is a no show right now. So Im turning to this fine site as a source for that.

Here are the positions I'm looking for right now:

--Mature 20yro female voice for an in control and foxy secretary named Lisa. The closest I can describe the character is Monica Bellucci. She nneds to have a smooth American voice, not teeny.

--A raspy or funny guy voice with a hint of duck in it. This will be the main character. Must be willing to commit through the entire amazing series.

--Regular average 30yro male voice for a small role.

--Country farmer voice for older 40yro male a one scene role.

---More voice positions are available for those who are good at cartoony voices and tired, worn out voices.

Send your samples that you think meet the criteria to davidg@nintendonow.com
Or if you want more information PM or email me at:

Thanks for your time.

Please put up audition lines and instructions on how you would like us to send them to you. Most of our VA's are too lazy, or just don't show enough interest to PM or contact the producer about more info. Please check back here: http://www.voiceacting.co.uk/board/viewtopic.php?t=4703

I may want to audition =D

Margo, we're not LAZY in the slightest. I'm too busy to go fishing around for lines.

We put a lot of hard work into this hobby, and if producers want our work, they have to earn it by following the intructions of the forums. It's not difficult to read the sticky before you make a post and it shows commitment to the project.

I'll be delighted to audition when the lines are posted. :)

I too would love to try out too!!!! (the duck and farmer are the most appealing.) So I'll audition as soon as the audition lines get posted.

Ah! Sorry @__@ But I don't think I'm the only lazy one around here... But maybe I'm one of the laziest...

Sorry I was well aware of the sticky that asks for people to post lines they want for auditions in the thread.

However due to the nature of my project I do not want onlookers to steal my ideas and concepts. I feel that some of the lines I have for people to try would give away some of those concepts. Therefore, I'd like to keep it so that only those who express interest in auditioning will receive the lines and they will receive them one on one in private.

Sorry about the confusion.

Sounds interesting... i would like to try out too...
guess i'll be sending an e-mail soon. ^^

Lines would be nice, though. Even if they aren't from the script. It may help somewhat?

Okay, here's a line you guys can use for auditioning.

I'll give more upon private contact.

Lisa auditions-- "Throwback, here's your assignment for the day. You are to meet Bubsy the Bobcat at the Grab N Save shopping center at 2pm. Be sharp, Bubsy likes punctiality as much as he likes cheesy catchphrases."

Throwback auditions--"Hmm, let's see Bubsy the Bobcat...I'm supposed to meet him at 2pm correct? Alright, I'm on it. Are you sure the Grab N Save food market is where I'm supposed to meet him?"

Farmer/Country auditions--- "What in the hell you doin on my property city slicker?"

Avg guy-- "Well if he's interested, he can come with me. I'm actually heading back to Redmond."
