*gasp and fangirl squeel* UnfortuantlyI can't see the trailer(http://www.hack.channel.or.jp/) until I get home because the computers here (I'm at school right now) are crap. OMG! YAY! I saw a couple of screen shots on the offical website. WOW. The graphics have been totally redone. It reminds me of the RPG Shin Megami Tensei AKA Digital Devil Saga. It has the same type of graphics from what I can tell. I am soooooooo excited now. Even though it might turn out to be another legend of the twilght, which has nothing to do with the main mystery that surrounds the first 4 games, I MIGHT still like it anyway.

OMG I SAW THE TRAILER! DEAR GOD I'M SOOO EXCITED! Yeah this will definatly not make me want to by the PS3 for a good year with this and Kingdom hearts 2. I'm about to read on the site now. Is it info about the trailer or about .hack info from all the other animes and games? If it's the later than I know alot about those already. I'll check out the site now.

nah, I don't like MMORPGs and if .hack really did go online, it would lose it's luster. (plus what would the game be about? Without there being something wrong in the system such as coruption or a rouge AI, then it wouldn't be .hack. It would just be .hack without all the mystery....in esscene it would just be "the world". That isn't very interesting...

I'd personally love an online playable version but I wouldn't actually call it .Hack, I would just call it THE WORLD. It'd just be sweet, the whole windows system just becomes apart of the game.

I'd diffenetly be a heavy blade class and would just roam around for hours with no end.

But the graphics for this game diffenetly look nice, I never did finish the first .hack game, I had all 4 of them but I stopped midway in 2 and sold them...if I get a job my goal is to get all 4 parts back.

Well there is a online .hack now. Its called .hack//fragment. I believe its being released at the end of the month in Japan.

I've heard very little to nearly nothing of Fragment other then alot of ppl here in the states don't think it'll ever see the light of day and hate Japanese ppl for getting the taste of such a wonderful franchise.

Interesting. .hack is one of my favorite animes. The games were okay. But if there are more games i gotta get 'em simply because I want to know everything about .hack ^^

GU looks very nice, the trailer I saw was just what I needed to wanna play the old games again, there's also the mention that if you still have the 4th volume safe file you can get some bonus material, sounds interesting.

I really do like how the graphics look, a sort of CG anime cel shade style looks very interesting. My problem with the original .Hack game was that it felt too pasty and the colors and imagery looked a bit pixeled.

I also like the idea of how THE WORLD has gone belly up with Player Killers and that CC corp has finally lost all control of the situation.

GU also being a 3 volume set is nice......I remember when Volume 2 came out I had NO IDEA that it had been released. I think it was just 6 months after I got the first game then the rest came really quick.

I think, gosh it was right before I started working in the real world, just after highschool when the first game came out.....and I think I had the rest of the games by the time I had started working for Nissan (which I don't anymore )

I think this will be a must grab in the summer of 2006.....so maybe I'll buy all 4 games again and just take my time playing them till the first GU comes out.

After reading the info on FRAGMENT....I've actually lost a lil interest in that game. It's online, yet it really isn't.....that stinks....

I started playing the games again :P sadly I could only get 1 and 2, the store I was at didn't have 3, but they had 4, turned it down for an Xbox360 universal remote.
