First part from MissAck, second part a bit of an addition that compliments it.
How often do you tend to goof off before and even while recording? What was the most entertaining goof or blooper you have ever recorded? No need to post the audio, but if you happen to have it, you can share it.

I actually don't goof off a lot, since I'm pretty determined once I start something. I only mess around if I'm frustrated with flubbing a line several times (which usually ends with screaming), or if the character has said something really stupid (whether by the actual thing or just scripting). I also has a tendency to make accidental spoonerisms, for example, "Here's a little cheer to charm you up." which almost makes sense.

I tend to goof off especially from the beginning, like, right before I even start recording. I usually make weird sounds with my mouth when I mess up lines, but like above, when I continuously mess up one certain line, I start to get frustrated and I start shouting or changing the line to release my frustration. XD I also start to mess around when my family members walk by.

I've gotten so into a furious line, I slammed my fist down on to my desk and then let out a massive burp after I said it. It was bad times.
But I tend to goof a lot. It's hard being Welsh and having to hide my accent... I say some words so weirdly it's unreal.

Agreeing with Cydonia, accents aren't fun to hide alot of times and it can get quite irritating when you stumble over certain words [or even letters since I struggle with T sometimes, it's almost nonexistant in my accent]. I usually just end up making stupid noises or, whilst waiting on my line to come up in a scene, I just randomly make sounds for the scene or just generally goof around in a state of pure boredom.

That's amazing XDD

Whenever I am recording for a fandub; Before I start the actual script I like to record something totally random and funny that will fit the lip flaps for my own personal enjoyment.

Generally, I don't goof off when in character. But there was one time I was auditioning for a kid-type role and sounded like Elmo...
Aside from that, I'll goof off in *non-recorded* rehearsals of songs. Though there's always that one person that captures it on video.

Whatever happens in my reel, happens. If there is anything worthing keeping for the producer that he/she might find funny, like myself cussing like a sailor when I screw up a line or accent decides to poke its Aussie head, i'll send it.

I'm awful.
Because it's much faster to not record line by line, I usually just open up the record program and let it roll while I try to match lip flaps and get my delivery right and all that fun stuff. I'm bad with fandubs, because once I have a take that fits and I'm happy with the delivery, if I'm comfortable enough with the character and not pressed for time, I'll record a line that fits the flaps and is usually quite inappropriate. They also tend to be hilarious!
With radioplays and things without video, I go off on major rants and/or tangents based on the script and/or the character. I mean really, I bloop so much I have an entire folder filled with over 30 MBs of blooper lines alone.
Come to think of it, it's about time for the 2010 Blooper Reel....

Yay my question!
I goof off a lot. Whether it's for a fandub, original script, whatever. I'll hit record just in case I'm playing around with my voice so much, in the beginning, that I happen to do a good take. So with that, there's usually a lot of goofing around as the character because I'm going through the script and mocking myself. Once I finally get started on the script, I mostly stay focussed... but then it just turns into bloopers or rants or squeaks....... you name it.

Well thanks to my friend Haruhost, I can't get through a whole line without saying teehee. I guess it's my way to just relax or get into character and I normally either say it right as I begin recording, at the very end, or whenever I screw up a line.
Although, I always goof off while not recording too. Like whenever I was doing Shippo from InuYasha I would always say really inappropriate things once I got done with the lines because I loved the voice so much. Like after I recorded my lines and sent them off, I literally jumped in the air and said "Oh fuck yes!" in the voice.

I don't goof off much, but some of the warm-ups I do sound pretty goofy, especially "dropping in". (Anybody who has learned dropping in from acting school, you know what I mean.)

I do bloopers sometimes when I mess up a line.
In other peoples projects and my own, I support blooper reals at the end of each project.

I accidentally goofed up on a line and then I suddenly started singing drunken sailor songs in that voice. How it happened, I dunno.

It takes me forever to hand in lines because of me goofing off before actually recording, actually majority of the voices in my demo reel were ones that I made when I was goofing off before doing lines. Usually I hit the record button like whenever im near the mic, just for the sake of picking up new voices.
as for bloopers, I had one I did for a character named Yoichi Karasuma, from Asu No Yoichi, where i totally forgot the attack line, so I was basically making a joke attack which went like this
"Ukiha Kamikaze-Style first strike.....F--K. Your. A-- UP!!!"
...if that wasnt bad enough, the attack sounded like Johnny Yong Bosch, so I was like, FFFFFFFFFFFF-Damnit.

Hahah, I goof off a lot, but mostly when I mess up.
When I mess up, I'll laugh (sometimes like a maniac for the fun of it...I've actually gotten some good takes of evil laughs out of my goofiness.) or make weird noises, and really, I think it just makes recording the lines more fun and memorable.
I like to take my VAing seriously, but still laugh and be goofy when I make a mistake.

Same. Recently I was doing lines for a production and there was this one line that I just could not get for the longest time. Eventually I just burst out laughing like an insane murderer facing his last moments as he stands in front of the electric chair. Weeelllllll it was fun, but now I know what it means to laugh so hard you start coughing LOL
I don't really goof off that much when I record I think, but when I mess up enunciation and stuff I go all "blahbrehbhbebhlhbelhb" and sadface :(
Funniest blooper I think I had was when as Kyon there was this line "What makes you say that?" to Itsuki which wasn't friggin' LONG enough so I had a lot of extra time before the lip flaps ended. After trying to fit it in there by slowing down (gave up, it sounded too stupid, rewrote line later) and getting so annoyed by it, I just recorded "Wow Itsuki you have a pretty big p****" with the most deadpan tone. Fit perfectly.
