Hey folks, I’m currently looking for a female voice actress to read the introduction of a short film I’m putting together at the moment. The narrator (Though I’m probably using that term loosely as she only reads the intro which will set up the mood of the piece) should sound somewhat mysterious, trying to foreshadow the events that are about to take place. I suppose the voice should be at about a medium or lower range and the line should be read at a moderate pace, taking your time but not too slowly. Other than that and the recording quality I won’t be too picky so please give it a shot if you can.
Narrator: Addiction can take many forms. It starts in many ways and can last many years. As one grows one would normally leave behind an addiction such as this, but this one has become dependent on the comfort and the escape, and the warm glow the cathode ray tube provides.
Audition Instructions: Record in 48000hz (Not 44100hz as is the norm around here) 16-bit (mono preferred) and save as .mp3. Label the file as YourName_EP.mp3 Attach the file to a e-mail and send to fernie417 @ Yahoo.com, and be sure to include info such as your name, contact info and resume if you’d like.
Deadline: <strike>Wednesday, May 11th should do, bit of a short notice but it’s only one line so it shouldn’t take too long.</Strike> Whenever I receive a audition I like.
Thanks for your time, I really appreciate it. =D
