When would most of the work be done?

I love MGS and I love Snake, and this would be really cool to do, but there's no point in me even submitting an audition if I can't do it. I'm gonna be gone from about halfway through June to the other half of July over the Summer. Made GSP. ^^;;

well, I suspect this project will be done around the mid of June, that's what my plans are anyway. It's a pretty long project, and I really need someone to be devoted to doing this role, because well it is the main one.

By the way guys, the auditions are turning out great. One thing I want to point out for other VAs who audition, make it as natural as you can. So dont try forcing the gruff and mature voice into the character. Or else what he says will not be as effective as if it were almost natural. I know my expectations are high, but I really want this to be a success.

Anyhow the auditions as I said were wonderful, and this will be a really hard choice to make.

I guess I'll have to try post-ponding the deadline. Snake is such a hard character to get, and the auditions are great but I'll try to wait just a little longer.

As for your lines, the quality is great. So dont worry about it, and thanks for taking the time to audition.


When is the new deadline?
I havn't decided yet, but Im just waiting a little longer because this is the main role, and I really want to make sure that I pick the right VA for it. SInce he has a lot of lines, and it really is crucial that it's done well. I'll try setting a new deadline soon.

I got quite a few auditions, but no one seems to have enough feel for the character. Some I found have really great voices, but they just couldn't portray enough emotion for the character. So I guess I'm still waiting. I mean I have to unfortunately.

Could you tell us what you are looking more for in our auditions?

hmm.. well I've been getting all kinds of auditions lately. Everyone seems to be percieving the role very different from what I had in mind. Some of the auditions I get sound gruff and evil, some are way to dramatic with the lines, some are said too slow and unbelievable, and some just seem to put on this fake gruffness in them. So I mean no doubt, there were a few auditions which I really liked in terms of the voice of the character, but they seemed to be lacking in the acting department. Hopefully I'll get to a decision soon, I suppose I can try working with one of you. I guess that's the best shot I have. I've post-ponded this long enough I think, so I'll try to come to a decision as soon as I can.
