So, me being the Voice Actor in the family, my brother, who is the video game/map maker of the family asked me if I could provide a few voices for his video game map he just made.
Naturally, that led me here.
Nothing hard. In fact, I'll just post the lines here as they're horribly short.
First, though, make sure they're 22,500 khz and 16bit in wav format. This is VERY IMPORTANT as the game won't accept anything else.
Please send them to spaces@orangerocks.com by April 29th. (The earlier the better, my brother's in a hurry for some reason. If we do find the voices we need before April 29th, we'll take them and close auditions, so don't waste time. :)
Also. Makapala and Apala both of long "AH" pronunciations to them, like "Father."
So. Onto the lines.
First is the "American." He's to sound mature, a leader sort.
Clark: The terrorists are run by a nasty fellow by the name of Apana. He's served some time in the military but mainly he's been living here in Hawaii, holing up in some shack in the mountains. The guy's more or less a nut job, completely insane, but he's got a mind for weapons and explosives. We found a site of his on the internet givin' out all sorts of information on how to make explosives; CO2 bombs, Thermite bombs, Paints bombs, you name it. Apparently, a while ago he was seen around town talkin' to a few guys here and there, you know, the kind you'd usually keep on the other side of the street to avoid? He'd chum up with them, invite them over to his house, and presto, he's got himself an army.
Next is the Brit. English accent, proper, fairly monotone. No peasant's english here.
Sweeny: While Apana shows all the signs of a crazed anarchist, he did send a message with the one worker they let go free. Apparently, what little time he spent in the military was enough to do a mind job on his head. He claims that experiments were done to him during his time there, and while he managed to get out soon enough, he's not been able to think clearly since that time. He says that he wants ten million dollars in cash given to him as payment for the damage done by those experiments by tonight or he'll blow the facility, effectively shutting down Makapala's water supply. Now, according to the locals, the man speaks nothing but nonsense, so for all we know, this could be nothing but the paranoid delusions of a scizophrenic. However, if there is some truth to his claims, we'd like to question him on the matter. If the US government is conducting experiments on their recruits, we want to know.
