Deadline is April 27th, 2005 (Wednesday).

Open Roles

Gnoll Brutes (3 different roles)

Characters and audition lines
Character document and audition lines, if you don't already have it:
http://www.dwarfcampaign.com/sounds/chapter1/Dwarf%20Campaign%20Characters%20v2.1.pdf

Each character has one or more audition lines. If you want to apply for a character, send your voicing of the appropriate audition lines to me (see contant info below). There aren't specific audition lines for all minor roles, though. Just send in the most appropriate line.

Dialogue script
http://www.dwarfcampaign.com/sounds/chapter1/Dwarf%20Campaign%20Dialogues%20v1.2.pdf
The script contains 41 scenes and approximately 175 dialogue lines.

Voice samples
I've also extracted some sound samples from Warcraft. They should help voice actors in getting grasp of what kind of voices different characters have in the world of Warcraft. Check both of the following threads out:
http://www.dwarfcampaign.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=361
http://www.dwarfcampaign.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=364

Recording format
Voice files must be mp3. I prefer 128 kbps (44100 kHz, 16 bit, stereo, CBR). Multiple auditions can be packed into a RAR or ZIP archive.

Sending auditions
Please send auditions to Tommi.Gustafsson@dwarfcampaign.com . The auditions will be evaluated after the deadline has passed. If your audition files are too big for email, you can send them via www.yousendit.com or upload it to your web page or ftp server for download.

From listening to the voice samples, all the Gnolls really seem to do is growl and bark in a very inhuman manor. Are you looking for a kind of Dinobot (from the Transformers Beast Wars series) style of talking?

Actually, gnolls can be more human than what the voice samples indicate. A voice with just canine feel is alright (some barks, woofs, snarls, etc.)! Gnolls in our campaign are quite dog-like.

(Sorry about not responding earlier, but I was busy programming our campaign, and forgot to check this thread.)

A small announcement: All voice acting related information on our forums have moved to the new dwarf campaign development forum:

This thread is still up-to-date.

And the deadline for the second round is on Wednesday (April 27)! Please send in your auditions before that!

Possibly. It depends on how we get the roles filled, and if we do changes in the cast during the process.
