I'm Lost

Crowds milling around.
I am but one person
I'm unconnected to the known
I'm lost

To where should I go?
To whom can I appeal?
It grows hard to quell the fear.
I'm lost.

Wrapped in their own lives.
Who cares to notice my need?
No hope of finding my home.
I'm lost.

The crowd's clearing now.
Will I be deserted?
Must I stay here scared and alone?
I'm lost

Then they appeared.
Love, security.
In each heart of my family.
I'm home.
