There's 4 voice actors that I have to do heart-tears to pick, but clearly mine would be Liam O' Brien. I would purchase a not-so-hot anime or game to hear his voice. Especially if it's an evil voice.

That's a tough one... It's probably a toss-up between Cynthia Martinez, Yuri Lowenthal, Kirk Thornton and Jimeson Price. Seriously, don't make me pick between them... it's too hard.:sweat

I'd say the two I admire the most would be Jon Culshaw and Chris Barrie (of course, like a lot of voice actors, they both do a lot of live action acting as well). I got into voice acting through impressions, so it's not a surprise they're both prolific impressionists. Although his live action roles are certainly more famous than his voiceover ones, I'd also say John Simm - I was surprised when I realised the range that guy has (and he's a Northerner).

Jim Cummings, David Kaye, Greg Ayers, Lucien Dodge.

Jim Cummings voiced so many of my favorite characters growing up, David Kaye voiced a favorite character in one of the first anime series that I followed, Greg Ayers because he, Tiffany Grant, and Carrie Savage came to my rescue running an AVA Panel (first time, alone, at my first con) at Nekocon 7, and Lucien because he's awesome and still manages to do awesome AVA stuff like Lost Frontier for me :).

I could say the VAs of my favorite bishies for doing such a wonderful job bringing them to life...but when it comes down to it, I think I'd have to say...

Jim Cummings

Just look at his credits! Such wonder! Such diversity! From Pooh Bear to also picking up Tigger with nary a notice to the trained ear of the VA switch. Road Rover villians, the two main characters of Bonkers, a number of notable Rescue Ranger&Darkwing Duck characters, Morroco Mole, and singing for Scar and Rasputen! Only a portion of his work as he's been in many genres, but he's been a part of many of my favorite shows.

there's a handful of names:
Quinton Flynn
Vic Macdurkadurka
Sean Schemmel
Chris Sabat
Johnny Yong Bosch
David Hayter
Cam Clarke
Legendary VA Artist/Musician/Hot-throb DAN GREEN

Ultimately, I think Chris Sabat was THE one cause I use to do the Vegeta voice in high school and at anime club xD

Steven Mane

Well, the obvious choice is Steven Mane. Then the rest get kind of hazy, but I think I can come up with a few:

Jim Cummings
Cree Summer
Pete Stacker (Here's to you, Real Voice Actor of Genius)
Max Raphael
Edward Herrmann
Jeff Lupetin
Lucien Dodge
Don LaFontaine
Tom Kenny
Grey DeLisle
Rob Paulsen
Sean Schemmel
And a good majority of 4-Kids voice actors

Takaya Kuroda. I could name more, but I like his work a LOT.

I normally avoid threads like this due to the many contacts and relationships I've developed with so many professional voice actors. I just don't want to be accused of "playing favorites." So I'm going to dodge the question about those I "admire most" by listing those who have been the most influential for sparking my interest in voice acting:

Mel Blanc
Daws Butler
June Foray
Bill Cosby
Rich Little
Jonathan Winters
Pat Fraley
Jim Cummings
Frank Welker
Peter Cullen
Corey Burton

Melissa Fahn.... for being able to carry on a career in voice over and stage acting at the same time. That's actually not as difficult as you might think. In fact, there are plenty of pro voice actors who still hold "day jobs." And scheduling VO work around being involved in stage productions is generally not difficult.
