Ghostbusters Mafia
The Ghostbusters are at it again, keeping the streets of Manhattan safe from ghostly ghouls, elad and poltergeists. Will they be successful against the likes of Gozer, or will the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man stand tall and long?
Rules:
Consist of the rules created by Matt along with the following.
1. No talking outside of the game unless you are a member of Mafia chatting with your fellow Mafia members about who should suffer next.
2. No roleclaiming.
3. If the mod is late, ask Matt to kick his butt.
4. No spammy spam spam.

Okay, so since I just found out that I have a unannounced meeting at 6:20 this evening, and because I don't want everyone hanging on waiting even longer for the start of the first day, I shall start day one early (giving you all some extra time since the end of day one will still be what I was planning it on being). And people are still welcome of course to sign up.
As the day begins, the Ghostbusters are all upstairs when suddenly, a bright green flash is seen and the building begins to tremble. A buzzer from below tells them that there is trouble ahead. "The Ecto-containment system!" Ray shouts. Running downstairs, they discover that the system is working just fine. However, the same cannot be said about the outside, as the street has been turned into a cemetery. The mailman then arrives and hands Janine a letter which was written on Ghostbusters stationary. It informs them that someone has had enough of the games, and wants the team dissolved, or else consequences shall occur.
Now you must work together to save the Ghostbusters and the City of New York from the spooks now controlling Brooklyn and making their way towards Manhattan.
It is now day One. With a start up of 9 players, it takes 5 to auto lynch
(but remember that if I'm away at the meeting when you reach auto lynch, you'll have to wait it out), and Day will end at 9pm Eastern time tonight.

I do not think a no lynch ticket is the way to go. It is only letting the mafia get one more kill. Saving the tickets until the last few days when we need them seems more logical. Maybe we can talk a little bit about this and make an informed decision.
At any cost? i like the sound of that sweet cheeks. well you can make the check payable to ghostbusters LLC of course. but if you can't make a check we also take cash, and sex as alternative payments.

After a long day of trying to put the pieces together, the all turned to look at elad. "And then she threw me out of her life!" he muttered. "She thought I was a geek, and she probably wasn't the first." JusticeGuy and IntoRapture both looked at elad before casting their votes. "How could you vote for ME?! I'm the sexiest of them all! Still, as long as I don't get slimed again."

Overnight, it seemed like all had been rather quiet as everyone awakens to find themselves safe and sound. Though with that came a joyful revelation. elad 2.0 has joined the game.
So without further ado...
It is now Day Two. With 9 alive, it again takes 5 to auto-lynch, and you still have your two No Lynch passes available. Day will end at 5pm Eastern on Wednesday as I need to finish getting work done and then sleep will be calling me.

Let us not bother with formalities, and get down to business. Since I have many experiments to run today I may not get back until night. So lets look at the data so far shall we?
ACTIVE: IntoRapture, Xyk, Elad, Justiceguy, Crossfire
INACTIVE: KelseyKay, Osparrow, Anarchy
Since mafia was inactive last night our best option may be to go with an inactive person. I am going to vote: Osparrow because she got the unlucky roll of the dice. My vote will stand all day, so if you disagree then feel free to override my vote.

A la mode, I know we don't have much to go on at this point, but I feel like you're being way more forward than usual. Sure, a no lynch may deprive us of a townie that night, but random lynching someone you know to be town deprives us of two. I guess we'll see what happens today, but if Sparrow is town and dies at your hands, you'd better have a really good defense ready tomorrow.

Well, we got to do something... I have never been one to agree with no-lynches. While it does preserve our own numbers, it also takes away a chance of us getting one of the mafia. So, I'll leave it up to the dice.
Die came up with Kelsey. So sorry! Vote: KelseyKay If you have any evidence that you are not mafia, I would be glad to withdraw my vote.

I think Kelsey will be treating al a mode to dinner for this.
As the vote was tallied, a huge quake was felt, followed by another and another. Heading up to the roof of the building they were investigating, they found the cause of the quakes. And it was at that point that they took action.

Sorry my defense was lame. I had all of 30 seconds to look at the thread and defend myself before having to go back to homework and head to the mall to check on my apps. Apparently even if I'm good at defending myself, I get lynched. So I didn't really bother that time. Oh well.

Okay, guys... some discussion, here? I don't know about you, but I don't really want to die today--and we've gotta figure something out.
Well, we have no have no leads then I take it, just either a random lynch, or a no lynch.
I feel as if a no lynch cannot help us, only mafia. We sit by idly and they get to kill off one of us at night.
While on the opposite hand we have a lynch. We may kill one of our own, but we also at least have the chance to hit mafia, something that we do not have with a no lynch...
And people always say inactives are suspicious....
So, since I haven't seen much of them, I have to cast my Vote: Justiceguy unless someone can prove him innocent.

Interesting night was interesting.
Everyone gathered once again to carry out yet another day. But someone was missing. Searching frantically, they discover JusticeGuy laying unconscious and seemingly in a LOT of pain. His tongue was stretched out and cut deep, some of his fingers partly cut off, numerous bruises and such to name a few of his injuries. An expression of sorrowful depression and immense pain on his face. However, he is still alive.
JusticeGuy has been knocked out and cannot speak, vote or be voted for today. It is now Day Four. You still have your 2 no lynch tickets and with 6 alive, it takes 4 to auto lynch. Day will end at 7pm Eastern.

As the sun set on another day, the votes reflected that the people had decided on a No Lynch situation. Therefore all remained alive as night fell. Whether they would still be alive and well come morning however, was another matter.

IntoRapture2.0, Gozer the Gozerian and Serial Killing God of Destruction has been killed.
Thankfully, the third victim is only unconscious and appears to be in a state similar to JusticeGuy had been the previous day.
osparrow has been knocked out in a torturous manner and cannot speak, vote or be voted for today.
It also seems that JusticeGuy is back to normal, so he can speak, vote, and be potentially voted for again.
