He's a good Spidey, but he tends to ham things up ("MARY JAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANEE!!!!!" "SHOCKEEEEEEEEER!! YOU CAN'T ESCAPE ME! I'LL CHASE YOU TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH!!!" to name some examples.)...though I can't really say he's at fault, though. He's great at those more quiet moments, and one liners, too.

Yes. But, I formed that opinion even before I saw that vid. I saw the series, y'know. Spidey shouting at Shocker didn't match the animation at all and wasn't appropriate for the scene. And, every time he went on going "MARY JANE"...yeah, he just over does it, and even as a kid I noticed it. I have a few other problems with his performance, but I won't get into it. That's just my opinion. Can't convince me otherwise. But, again, I can't fault him, especially after some stories about the voice director (who apparently isn't getting work anymore).

That aside, Chris Barnes is gonna reprise in the new Spider-Man game "Shattered Dimensions." Probably in response to Kevin Conroy, Arleen Sorkins and Mark Hamill for Batman Arkham Asylum.
