Thank you to everyone that auditioned! This was really a hard decision to make for a lot of these parts, and all the auditions I recieved were outstanding! But I had to make choices for certain characters. Some of these characters were casted before I held an open casting call, so if you see some casted characters and say "I never saw those before!" that is why. Yeah FF8: Shattered is my project. I'm still working on it, but I am just taking a break from it for a while. I've been swamped with work so I just haven't had the opportunity to spend time on it like I would like. MGS: DOT is a stand alone project though, so I can put this together in a day or two once I have all the dialogue in. :) And yes, I was Squall in Shattered as well. Let me get that Ocelot audition from you as soon as possible. I do a fairly decent Ocelot myself, and I already had it planned that if I didn't get any good Ocelots then I would play the part myself. Unfortunately, Snake and Ocelot have too similar of voices, especially if they are voiced by the same person, so I want someone else to play Ocelot if possible.

Talisa Eastwick is about 15 years old. She's a typical teenage girl, maybe a little angsty, a tad overdramatic, but she speaks normally. Don't try to exaggerate her character if you can help it. Since she's a "Regular Human", she doesn't need to have too unique of a voice, just as long as she doesn't sound like Meryl. Meryl is kind of throaty and medium pitched. a bit of a raspy tone to her voice, like she's a smoker. Her voice comes off as a little sultry without her actually trying. So as long as Talisa Eastwick doesn't sound like that, then there shouldn't be any problems. Just experiment with the voice.

I'm touching up the last part of the script that I will be giving out to people. This is going to be such a great project! I can feel it! I've already mixed the scene with myself as Snake with Jenna, and it turned out AWESOME. Most people that have heard it say "Was that from the game?" and when i tell them that I made it, they are like "O_O...NO WAY." hehe so yeah, it's gonna be goooood.

It did turn out rather well actually. And usually I am wary of producers who self cast but in BP's case it is justified because he sounds REALLY like Snake.
