Remember Me

Hey! Don’t forget about me!
Oh sorry,
You must be busy.

Ok I’ll stay right here and wait for you,
Kinda like I always do,
Just for you.

I’m getting kind of lonely,
Won’t you play with me?
I guess you can’t, you’re so important,
And I’m so lowly.

Well that’s ok, I’ll see you later,
My love for you is only greater,
Because I know you’ll be back.

I guess I was too weak,
I could only wait so long,
Are ten years enough?
Or my wait I should prolong?

I haven’t eaten in a few days now,
I’m feeling kinda faint…
I’ll just lie down and you can wake me up…
Wouldn’t that be great…?

I very much like that you steared clear of the normal sort of standard way of writing poems, very creative. To me, it sounded like the poem was referring to friends, then lovers and then someone whos annorexic and forlorn.
Anyway, nice transitions between themes :P
