my contact:I don't have ready access to my own email account, but I can be PM'ed either here or on the Zim forum. (I have the same username there)

characters needed:
Zim
GIR
Ms. Bitters
possibly other supporting characters

(Anyone can apply for any character, even if it's already "taken" until recording for that particular character starts) A voice for Zim is needed badly, and recording will start ASAP once we get voices for Zim and GIR.

audition lines:
Zim:

(Only one exists for GIR, because that's the only clip of the VA's unaltered voice that I know of, which we will need to match up auditions against)

recording format: WAV's, and zipped if desired.

special sending instructions: The forum is here: http://www.buzzyworld.com/cgi-bin/izfas/cutecast.pl just link to your audition clip in the "apply for a job" thread at the forum.

deadline: The project gets started as soon as someone gets the positions for GIR and Zim filled.

The script for our pilot can be found here http://www.buzzyworld.com/cgi-bin/izfas/cutecast.pl?session=lubWJDPl09PT0bEEovX1MHIcbC&for um=5&thread=745

Hey there. Do you just want us to make a new post in the 'Apply for a Job' section, with links to our lines? Is there any other way we can go about it, like via email? Also, what kind of format/quality do you want recordings in?

Sorry for the third degree, but there are a few people who like things done right around here, so I thought I'd get to you before they did =)

Good luck with the project, I'll be trying to audition in some form when I can!

Exactly.

The auditions should be posted for all to hear on the forums so that everyone can analyze and discuss it together, but the lines that will be recorded for actual use once hired will, I believe, just be emailed to the animator.

I understand, and I apologize for having such a sloppy first post. I really should have looked at rules and stuff thoroughly before posting, and have attempted to fix my original post.

Hey, I'd love to do Invader Zim voices ^_^ But, I'm very confused about how to do it... Do you think you could explain a little more thoroughly? Thankies!

Ok, I tried to make it a bit more clear in my first post, but if you're still confused, please let me know exactly what it is that I'm not explaining well, and I will try to answer.

Invader Zim is so cool, man! I wish I had time to do this. I'll see what I can do to clear up time.

Okay, so you want us to sound like the originals?

Aaaand...there are no specific audition lines? Just any of the ones on the site?

Yes. The whole idea of the Fan Animated Series is to pick up where the show left off when it was abruptly cancelled, and we try to stick to the show in every way possible.

Right, but it is suggested that one should choose a variety of lines that show that he/she can sound like the original character in many different situations. Also, like I said, screaming is something that's very important, because the characters in this show can be quite... loud, for lack of a better word.

I am very glad that I am piquing some people's interest in the project! ^_^ Thank you all in advance for your help, and good luck!

Mmm.. you still need to post some audition lines for your production. I'd hate to have to lock the thread. :/

I understand that you want to do it a different way, but those are the rules here.

I'm sorry, I wasn't aware of that. (boy, I feel like I'm making a fool of myself! )

Mm.. I really hate to keep pestering you about this, but edit your original post so that people see them. ^.^ Also, you might want to provide the lines, too, since some people might not hear correctly and might send you something kinda strange.. wouldn't want that. x.x

And don't feel foolish at all.
