Your voice has a really nice quality to it. I am, sadly, unfamiliar with Fruits Basket so I can't critique how well you matched the character.

You seemed to be holding back juuuust a smidge of your energy. It was barely noticeable, but there were times when it did sound like you were delivering lines without the full weight of their meaning behind them.

That said, as I mentioned, your voice has a really nice quality to it and the recording quality is pretty good, except that you have a lot of puffing going on. Watch the puffs of air on your plosive sounds (Bs and Ps are the big ones) Sounds similar can also come if you happen to be holding the mic rather than having it in a stand or mounted.

You want to work on enunciating just a teensy bit more crisply. I lost a few ending consonants and middle consonants here and there. Nothing too severe, again, but just something to be aware of for the future.

Very nice work overall! Keep it up!

Thank you very much for your advice - I shall take it to heart! I admit it was a little rushed, but...

Anyway, I'm sorry about the shortness of my first post - I was in a super rush, but I'm here now.

This is my Fruits Basket Reel that I did for fun one day. Honestly, I wanted to post my 2010 reel, but that's still under construction.

Because I'm new to the world of voice acting outside of a lonely, personal hobby, I would appreciate all critiques and advice so that I can advance my skill and feel more comfortable with my voice.

Thank you all Very much!

Well, what I've already said is a nice start. The best thing is to just keep practicing and make sure you listen to your work. Eventually you will develop a good sense of what sounds good.

As I said, your quality wasn't bad, you just seemed to be holding back at times. We all do that. Sometime I plan on posting a demo of the 'evolution of the voices of Sparf' if I can get over the embarrassment of my early VAA work.

But it's just something that takes practice. Keep it up, you're doing fine! ^_^

You have an absolutly wonderous voice, that you do.
There were a few puffs, but nothing that isnt fixable!
I will certainly be watching out for things with you in it ^^ That I will.
