If some of you have seen or auditioned for my Kamen Rider Decade clip project, the answer is no...I did NOT give up on my project. There were only a few setbacks that kept me from releasing the first clip of episode 22. There's still more to come. As you can see, there were some SFX that are missing, such as the bells that are being heard in the background, the sound where Tsukasa flashes his card, stomach grumbling, etc.

This is my first time mixing a fandub ever. You could tell by watching this clip. I decided to use Sony Vegas Platinum to see what I can do in terms of mixing. If there's any sort of advice you guys can give me about mixing, I'm all ears. Otherwise, I hope I did okay here. Critique on the voice acting is also welcome.

This is awesome for your first mixin' ever. I enjoyed this and will say no more before I start gushing like I'm your mother or something. But great job!

Well, after a couple of listens I have to say that the audio sounds pretty clean. It's definitely better than I would have done on a first attempt. You know there's ambiance effects that need to be added, but I'll include them in things I think should be added.

-SFX: Basically, just add little things like you would have heard in real life. The footsteps are a no brainer, but maybe a few more things too. Think birds chirping, the rustling of clothes as the start to stumble, that sort of thing.

-Vocals: With the vocals, everything is pretty even and crisp. That's both good, and bad to me. The quality is great, but don't leave everything at the same level. Try and make it "Stereo" by having the audio start on one side of the channel as they walk on screen, and slowly move to the other side as they move to the other side. Or, put Tsukasa's vocals more to the forefront when he is closer to the screen and lower Natsumi and Yuusuke's as they are farther away.

It's little stuff, but it'll make this clip uber professional. (:

Thanks Hawkeye. Heh...I knew something was wrong with it. But I couldn't quite put my finger on it. At the moment, I'm playing around with the audio levels of the voices to see what works and what doesn't work. As far as SFX goes, I guess I turned down the birds chirping in the background (as well as the cows), so we could hear the characters talking. Otherwise, thanks a ton! Now I know what to work on.

Any other suggestions, I'm all ears as usual! :)
