With isner to step down in september as chairman of disney and
the new chairman to make ovetures with Pixar in order to resolve
The Conflect my feeling as a voice is that this would have to
be a first step in repairing a badly tarnished reputation .

Face it disney's reputation around thier dealings with the industry
would have to change before the rest of the rift would ever have
any chance of closeing this would have to involveing repaairing
years of mistrust caued by thier disregarrd of those who
have worked with them .

Thee is also thier longstanding disregard of voice over induesty as
a whole and paying them what they are worth rether then what they
can getaway with.

Now dont get me wrong I would love to work for disney for one reason
dispite thier misdealings they have the reputation as a career maker dispiite
how chap they are I have seen on more then one instents where a va who
started off with disney get picked up by fox or some other studio in any
case the new Chairman has his hands full.

Well thats my take on this what is yours

Disney has suffered from the mega-insanity complexe that big businesses tend to develop and the only way to fix it is to burn the place down. Pixar is the only thing that's any good to do with Disney anymore...and I'm not even sure what their relation ship to the Mouse is anymore.

I believe it's been terminated with Pixar to produce like two more movies for Disney....but I could be wrong.

With Eisner gone, I'm sure things will improve. That man was poison. We're so due for another golden age.

And Pixar's Cars will be their last movie for Disney, I believe. Then they are teh free. ^_^

It's not just that one part of Disney, it's the whole thing. :(

yea, when you hit rock botton, there's nowhere to go but up, and pixar makes some neat stuff, so i'd like to see them succeed.

When I worked in Disneyworld (Downtown Disney to be exact) last Spring, the workers actually walked off the job for a few days because they were boycotting Eisner. If they didn't have the college interns that would have been a devistating leak to the media. They kept it hush hush.

They kept a lot of things hush hush while I worked there and everyone knew that Disney was not a STRONG company anymore because the loyalties had been long gone since Eisner kept effing up.

Pixar only had a contract with Disney for so many years. When the contract ran out they had the option of picking back up with Disney or floating on there own. With the extreme image and pressure that Disney was putting on Pixar it was only natural that they would pull out. Financially they knew that Disney was faltering as well so they pulled out. They were only required to make two more big movies with Disney and then their contract was to end.

Just to clear that up a little bit *_*. Anything else you would like to know?
