Wow this was great ^^
Though i think most of your lines were all pretty much in the same area, the happy and crazy happy types. I'd have liked to see some anger or even maybe some crying lines in there to show off your abilities, but from your demo it's clear you have lots of energy and can show off emotion =D

I'm terrible at critiquing/commenting, but I'll do my best. ^^;

“Look, I don’t know what you’re…”: nice opening line.

“ha, I knew it!”: This voice made me laugh, it’s so childish (attitude wise), but so very well done. One of my favorite lines in this reel.

“Master, looks like…”: Very well done. Absolutely no complaints. Very nice contrast from the previous voice. Perfectly dark. ^^

“Oh my god…”: This line felt a bit weak. But! It’s not bad. I guess I just didn’t quite believe the tone.

“You really think…?” Again, very well done. Nice contrast again. No complaints

“You are completely worthless”: Nicely done. Another favorite line in this reel. Evil, maniac like, and I believe it. ^^

“We can’t give up.”: nice voice…though I think you got really close to the mic all of a sudden. (“you can count on me…” part )But that’s barely noticeable. Very good.

“I did say I don’t know…” No complaints here either. Good job.

Overall, I really like this demo reel. I absolutely love your voice. Like what Moonlightspiral, I wish there were more emotional lines. Keep up the great work! Hope to hear more from ya.

I loved this demo reel! From ur quirky voices to the dark mysterious ones~ I would like to see a wider range of emotions as well as variety in tone but what you've shown is pure gold. You have tons of energy, I can only hope to achieve 1/3 of that but then again I'm just starting, it sounds like you've been doing this a while. Keep up the awesome work ^-^=b

Nicely done demo reel, I liked your energy and most of your lines were pretty believable.

However like said before, most of your characters seem a bit to happy-go-lucky so you might want to put in some more serious and natural sounding ones in the next one. Another thing is I really only felt you deviated from your normal voice twice (with the older and more maniacal character) so just try and experiment with your range a little more. More lower and more higher characters will do you wonders ^^

Also make sure you put your best voices and acting first, to me you stuck all those at the end.

Still it's enjoyable overall so good job on the fun factor.

I agree with what Hyperknees said, with you're slightly unbelievable voices and not straying very far from your natural voice, however, I had some other things in mind, too.

"Look, I don't know what you think you're doing" - The background music, mixed with the voice and your avatar picture, made me think up a random mental image of a mix between A Clockwork Orange and two gangs having a dance-off. Trippy, but also a great opening, in my opinion.

"Ha! I knew it!" - At first it felt kinda weak to me, but it grew on me and the kissy noises at the end really bring it home ;D Not the strongest line in the reel, but a good one.

"Master..." - In my opinion the weakest of your lines. The voice and accent felt forced, and the pacing you had in the beginning sounded kinda weird: as if you were going too fast and trying to go slower, or the other way around. I'm really not sure there, but it felt out of place.

"Oh my god, how adorable!" - Ouran background music ftw! ;3 In the first line here I think you could've put in more energy and gone a bit higher on "adorable!", because I got the feeling that it falls kind of short of its potential. The rest is solid, though. Good job ;D

"You really think you have..." - Clichéd badguy lines, hoohah! |D This wasn't exactly weak, but it really didn't stand out.

"You are completely worthless!" - I love this line! You had good energy, made a good read from it and your voice was great. I got serious Rodyle vibes from this line, especially with the "host body" part ;D Epic!

"We can't give up!" - The emotion kept changing abruptly in this line and it felt rather... weak, because of that. Not to mention that you changed up your voice at the very end and I wasn't sure if it was still the same character or not o_O

"I DARE SAY!" - What... the... fuck..? So random and out of nowhere, but as a comedic voice this was really good! Perhaps not the best choice to end your demo on, though.

Overall: Good music choices to accompany the lines, the sfx never overpowered the lines, HOWEVER, the order of the lines were a bit... off. It felt like you should've put some of the later voices near the beginning to get a more intense first half of the reel.

In the end, Pawt... Approves!

I highly enjoyed that demo reel. One thing on the 2nd line, it sounded like you almost messed up towards the end of it. Also I agree with Hyper, try different types of characters, demons, nerdy, dying person etc lol

The critique I have is towards the end. The 'I know things look bad."

I don't believe a word of it. He sounds like he's reading lines off a page. I'd cut that line down to just the response in the same music cue, because the response line I bought (assuming that's you as well. If not, I'd trim out the whole thing).

Heroic lines are historically tough to do without sounding forced or melodramatic. Just remember whatever the character is fighting for and why it's important, and really live in those circumstances.

I adored everything else though. Great work!

I appreciate the really specific feedback. I did struggle a bit with that line, and looking back I'm really unsatisfied with the way I delivered it. Thank you for the advice =)

Old post I know, but I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who recently sent me positive feedback on this demo reel. I already sort of despise it and feel I could have done better XD.... but such is life and voice acting I suppose.
