I'm glad someone agrees with me that Edward and Jacob should be played by people who sound like prepubescent boys. Oh, and the emotion was stellar - just like in the movie.

You don't see many fandubs like this around here, but I guess when it comes to the Twilight saga, it was bound to happen.

Unfortunately, when it comes to live action dubbing it's so important to match the appearances of the actors and though Bella and Jacob's voices worked -albeit a little young sounding- Edward's just didn't fit.

Though my biggest issue with the production was the lack of sound effects. It became especially apparent once Jacob turned into a wolf, some more effort in recreating the scene would have been much appreciated.

So the voice did not fit at all. Given that this is a movie and not something animated, a lot more effort into getting the voice right is needed. Most of the voices sounded a lot younger than they should've been.

Also the emotion in this was kinda lacking in here. But well done for getting this out to the VAA. Very bold of you.

If it's fake, then it's definitely a trollfest.

If it's real, then this is a perfect example of the so easily acquired (and often blind) praise that makes feedback from the VAA generally not worth the effort to receive. The comments on here are all either about how "amazing" something is or how "pitiful" it is, but neither go anywhere near the realm of what was done right.

At this point, it doesn't even matter anywhere whether it's real or fake, because either result has the same level of importance; when everything becomes "amazing", then the praise is nothing short of pointless.

I'm not a fan of Twilight in the slightest, but props for tackling a live action movie scene! Like Kei mentioned these things are really difficult to cast correctly since not only do you have to match very specific lip flaps, but getting the correct voice to fit a character physically is extremely important. Everyone sounded a bit too young for their roles in this clip, Edward especially more than anyone else. I do like how Bella sounded more feminine, as I always thought the original actress to lack that specific trait. I also liked the voice you used for Jacob, definitely my favorite in this clip. Overall I think a lot more emotion could've been used in such this scene across the board, especially with the yelling and grunt/s.

The mixing also needed a lot of work as it was really lacking in the SFX department, again like Kei mentioned earlier. This wasn't too shabby though but with some tweaking it could've been more solid. <3 ^o^

In any case, I'll take neither Bella, Edward or Jacob. I'm all about Hellsing's Alucard. ;D

To be honest...the voices were way off. They all sounded 13 - 15. And the fact its a live action movie that many people hate and tend to bash on a not so daily basis...just made it all the worse. But good job for getting the courage to post it on the VAA

What? It is a silly idea. Unless it's a foreign film, and even then I'd rather read subtitles since when I have people talking about 5 seconds after their mouths have closed it tends to take me out of the scene.
