Hey guys!
Last week, I went to Connecticut to have a little photoshoot with my Faith (Mirror's Edge) costume and I wanted to share the photos with my youtube subscribers! So, last night, I decided to start working on covering the theme from the game!
This is Still Alive, by Lisa Miskovsky. The original is absolutely amazing, and the song turned out to be so much harder to sing than I first expected. Just because sometimes it's really tough to find a good solid spot to breathe in.

And the photos in the video are the photos from my photoshoot last week. (:
Enjoy!

I absolutely love this song. I mean LOVE! So much that I did a remix of it. So I had to check this out when I saw the title.
Your take on this song is lovely. It is indeed a hard song, and I commend you not only for attempting it, but for doing it well. You took some liberties with the harmonies that don't quite hit the chill-causing feelings of the original, but you did a wonderful job making this song your own. Very nice job. :)
I'm not really great at critiquing singing (other than whether it's in or out of key), so that's all I got. But this was a pleasure to listen to. Oh, and the cosplay looks good, too. :D

It's such an amazing song!! So I'm glad I was able to do it some justice! xDD
About the lack of harmonies. To be honest, I didn't feel like sitting there and picking out all of the harmonies. x_X I kept the really major background parts. Well, actually, the only major background part that I did that was in the original were those really high notes in the background just before the last chorus. But other than that, I pretty much did my own thing with the whole thing. x.x
I'm glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for listening! (:

The only critique (and it's a very minor nitpick) I have would be to let your mic hiss start from the beginning... You can clearly hear it start at :18. If it went from the beginning, we'd be used to it instantly, because we wouldn't know it wasn't there before. This would amount to the perfect cover song. Other than that, excellent mixing, and excellent singing.

Ooh,why haven't I seen this earlier!?
This cover is absolutely beautiful. I really love how you took an original approach with this song and created your own melodies here.
You have definitely done this song alot of justice and this piece really compliments your vocals very nicely!:D
