What's your next cosplay?

For those of you that enjoy cosplaying, what's going to be your next or latest project? Sharing pictures would be awesome too :)

I'm not too big on cosplaying myself but I try it out from time to time. I find myself involved with really easy costumes. My first cosplay was Melfina from Outlaw Star and my next will be Jill Valentine from RE3.

The plan was to make the cosplay in time for this past Halloween, unfortunately I became sick and had to stay home. Sucks, right? So, now I'm just waiting on the next occasion to wear it. I might have to wait for the next con, now that I think about it...Which will not be until this summer. Bleh. Oh well, I can wait, I guess.

I wanted to make the cosplay, uhm, kinda creepy and mangled. I have a friend that graduated beauty school and she can do really cool stage makeup. So I want to have gnarly scratches along the arms, a chunk of flesh taken out of the shoulder, bruised legs (and with my klutziness, I won't need makeup for that part), and various blood smears here and there. The skirt also has some rips to add to that effect. I really don't want to do much to the top because its nice...and I may wear it for some other occasion, haha! I guess I can still wear that to a con, but Halloween sounds more fitting. Oh! And I have a friend who has these pretty realistic looking guns (but they're actually paintball guns) along with the shoulder holsters, so I'm practically set. I just have to be extremely cautious where I sport the guns >_>

For Megacon, since it's not all entirely anime. It's more of anime, sci-fi, fantasy all combined into one area sorta thing. I'm actually going as a Jedi. The costume is all home made, except the lightsaber which I'm getting off of Amazon. It's the red Darth Vader one. It was basically the cheapest saber on there. It's the master replica one. Complete with SFX that were actually in the movie. I get that on Friday!

I'm in an eevee evolution cosplay group and I've designed my own personal Glaceon cosplay. I've got it approved and so that will be my main focus as far as cosplay goes for september. Misa will, like I said, be a closet cosplay. Yin will be a pretty simple costume to make. I've never cosplayed in my life (though I've wanted to), but on Monday...well, here's the full story:

My friend and I were planning to do some sort of dance for my school's talent show. We haven't had a talent show since I was in second grade (I still remember it---I sang "Why Not" by Hilary Duff!~) So, we still hadn't decided on a dance yet, and then, before I knew it, they were announcing auditions on Monday. We had a four-day weekend, so I figured I'd practice with her. Then my mom told me she'd gone to her shore house for the weekend, which left me to stay up 'til four-thirty Monday morning, trying to finish my book projects, come up with an act, and get UTAU to work. (It did! Now I have an UTAU named Komai Seikatsu in the process of being made~) Well, I couldn't come up with anything because of my muddled brain, so I was forced to get about an hour of sleep, then go into school and come up with an act in a matter of hours. I couldn't. So I went down, still trying to think, and then I got the best idea ever: I ran across the street to the church (we were setting up for the second grade play in the auditorium), grabbed my iPod, ran back over, plugged it in, and freaked out a bunch of small children by dancing to a Japanese song. Guess what that song was?

Well, obviously, "Hare Hare Yukai!" xDDD

So now I'm registered to cosplay in my school talent show!

I'm in an eevee evolution cosplay group and I've designed my own personal Glaceon cosplay. I've got it approved and so that will be my main focus as far as cosplay goes for september. Misa will, like I said, be a closet cosplay. Yin will be a pretty simple costume to make. Ok So I went into the fabric shop today. And I'm so excited. Even though I only got fabric for one cosplay this is still a big step for me.

So I now have the fabric for my glaceon cosplay. I've made the design and now all that's left is to sew. OMG how exciting.

I actually got a pattern for the main dress and on top of that pattern I got a pattern for Yin's dress from darker then black. so I'm like set for 1 cosplay. This is my first ever cosplay so even if I'm unable to get yin's done [though more then likely I will] then I will still have my first ever. It still makes me happy inside.

It's actually been about two years since I've last been able to think of an anime character I could pull off...

But I have been doing a lot of Star Wars cosplay. I'm still working on my B-wing pilot, that's an ongoing project, and slowly working on finishing my generic Jedi. But my next cosplay for Star Wars will be a TIE fighter pilot (hopefully) and an original Jedi costume.

I'm not sure when or even if I'm going to do it, but my fiancee wants a costume like this (http://images.wikia.com/ffxi/images/9/98/Unkai-Armor-Full.png), and I'd like to make one like this (http://www.panicmotion.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/img_20110617_214538.jpg). I've got almost an entire year to do them though, if that's what we decide on. My only concern though is how much these materials are going to end up costing.

I will only be at AX for one day this year (the third day) and I have to make a decision of what I will cosplay as!

As of this moment, I will be cosplaying as my own manga character Satomi Hiroyama from my webmanga series "Crimson Shadows". She will be easy to cosplay, as I have all the materials I need (long grey jacket, glasses, long boots....I naturally have dark hair, so that makes it easy!)

I have been considering cosplaying Mayuri Shiina from Steins;Gate, but I will need to get my hands on a similiar dress. I already have a hat, and getting those black shorts to put underneath won't be too hard.

I also wanna cosplay Korra from The Legend of Korra, as it seems like an easy outfit to do, but alas, I don't have the materials. She'd be so fun to cosplay! If for any reason I can get my hands on what I need for her outfit....I'll DEFINITELY go as her, otherwise....it'll be my own character.

I continually work on my Return of the Jedi B-wing pilot-- currently on my third (and hopefully final) revamp of the cosplay... And besides that, I'll begin working on two Jedi and a Sith Acolyte suit of armor soon.

As for anime, I'm hoping to finish a cosplay of J from Heat Guy J in time for the next KumoriCon.
