EPISODE TWO
__________________

I'm EXTREMELY sorry for releasing this so late. It's been a rough time for myself and some of the cast that hindered the progress by a bit, but it's finally released. I hope it's worth the long wait. :sweat

I hope I improved on my mixing a bit. I'm becoming more familiar with Vegas Movie Studio, so I hope it paid off a bit. Also, I hope the opening turned out well. This is the first time I've ever even attempted anything like that, so I hope you guys like it, as well. ;]

Anyway, on to Part One!

heh I really loved how they did the beginning of this game (well I pretty much loved the whole game).

Tidus's voice was a bit too high but actually I could see that voice on vaan work like a charm (just something I noticed).

Auron's voice was a bit off for me, but thats because its so radically different (though doing aurons voice is pretty hard). I think giving him a slightly older tone and making him deeper or gruffer would work a little better.

The boys voice was fine from what I could tell.

Can't wait to hear Rikku!

V... Vaan voice!? Ahhh, the ultimate insult!

I feel that, my brother. Tidus is still very much a voice I'm working into, so I hope you see it improve as we go on.

Heaven's Incarnate, MUCH improved on the mixing this time around, I can't thank you enough for making me look better than I actually was, haha. There were still a couple of kinks (the looped sound effects for the swimming was one thing that stuck out, I dunno how you'd fix that, but...) so it's great to see that you really are putting the work in. I can't wait to see the rest. Since... my voice is too high to carry this dub, haha--need more characters!

Vaan only wishes your voice could be his. ;]

Anyway, thanks for the compliments, both of you. I'm really glad to see that this is making progress. And I'm sure it will only get better. ^_^

And as for Rikku, if things work out as planned, you may just get to hear her tonight. ;]

The effects are SO GOOD. It was literally a pleasure to listen to.

The voices....were off. Like it was said before, Tidus was too high and flat. Auron wasn't gruff enough. I look forward to this dub when the voices get set into though!

For now, I'd give it a 3/5. (Watchable).

...I didn't think A-Man was to high... I actually quite liked it, the mixing was better than last time and it felt solid. Room for improvement? Sure, but improvement is being made.

Improvement is being made, indeed.

As for myself, I tried approaching Auron using a natural and carefree tone, so as to not sacrifice authenticity with a boy playing old man, but I'm definitely going to definitely age him next time as best I can.

Part two is up!

There were a few...technical difficulties (mostly just my laggy ol' computer) that affected the mixing, so some things may sound a bit strange. They could be because of Vegas Movie Studio, or just my own little mixing mistakes, but I don't want to obsess too heavily over it. Live and learn, I suppose. :sweat

Anyway, hope you still somewhat enjoy the second part. ;]

And finally, the third part is up, and the episode is complete!

I feel that the mixing here is better than the other parts, since this was a fairly easy part to mix.

Hope you enjoy!

Nice to see this dub still has life! And Heaven's Incarnate, I'm really enjoying your mixing, it's improved quite a bit. Kairi was very enjoyable as Rikku and everyone spoke Al Bhed convincingly. Also Actorman seems to be fitting better into the role of Tidus in this episode. My only complaint would be that it's rather hard to see everything at times but I'm sure that won't be a problem once you reach Besaid. Keep them coming. I can't wait to hear Wakka!

Thanks for the comments! I'm glad to hear that the cast is getting some positive feedback on their performance! I'm also glad to hear my mixing is somewhat improving.

Count on the next episode to be even better. ;]

Yes, I also didnt realise the painting is so big.

Actually, I like this painting very much. I would have voted for it if I were in Australia. And I would love to paint something similar, one day.

lawl Actorman you can give Tidus whatever voice you want to go with. Just took some getting used to because your doing your own take on him (which is fine).

Tidus- I do like how genuine and natural his character is portrayed, not a thing felt forced or whatever and the energy he had was great. I do feel like he has a rather nervous tone on alot of his lines and it might be best to hold back on that and try to portray a slightly more confident Tidus (much like you did on the star player of the zanarkand abes line). However I enjoyed his narration and the original take, hopefully get to see him grow as this goes on.

Rikku- Appropriately voiced and also exhibited pretty good energy. I do feel like her mannerisms should be slightly more bouncy and bubblely (whatever that means) because she comes off a little mature and serious in a few of her lines, but still I like where shes going with this character.

And nice job to the extra guys, good energy and all likable voices that fit well.

Keep up the good work!

This is too much. What's going on? This thread has fallen prey to every kind of trolling imaginable.

I agree.

Please, only post here if you have something constructive to contribute to the thread. Otherwise, I don't know... don't...? It doesn't really do you much justice.

And, by the way, I already have someone voicing Jecht (ConVito).
