Welcome, witches and ghouls, to the Bermuda Triangles biggest halloween party! We've got quite the party planned out for you, that is, so long as someone doesn't go missing mysteriously.

After all, on an island right smack in the middle of the Bermuda Triangle, and with all sorts of things that go bump in the night on it... Things could go pretty awry.

Halloween Mafia

The Rules
1. Roleplaying is allowed, but don't make your role obvious... unless you're a townie, anyway~
2. Don't ask me if you're dead... If you do, I'll link you to the players list and bop you over the head with a magazine.
3. Don't role claim... 'cause I said so.
4. Inactivity is a nono. 3 days of inactivity is a warning. 4 is a modkill.
5. You may talk at night, but don't spam the thread... or I'll bop you over the head with a hammer.
6. Votes and Unvotes must be done in BOLD, or else they won't count. Example: Vote: Chibi_Riki. Unvote: Chibi_Riki.
7. If you use text talk so help me god I will modkill you. >8|

It's a cold, dark day of late December October. Thousands of boats and yachts approach a small, beautiful tropical island with what looks like a mansion high up on the hill. Many check their compasses, but it's no use... the Bermuda Triangle renders them useless and the needles just continue to whir in circles.

Once the boats dock, the guests are greeted by a young woman in Gothic Victorian era clothing. She gives a little bow to her guests and beckons them to follow her. As they reach the door of the mansion, little water droplets begin falling down from the sky. A few of the guests make uncomfortable noises, and the woman calms them down.

The woman opens the door to the mansion and goes inside, followed by her guests. Another young woman and a little girl are standing at the staircase that the woman takes a few steps up. She turns around and smiles at her guests.

"Welcome, everyone!" Mayor Lady Seltza says, "Now, first things first... why don't we all shed our human skins? Ir is a holiday, after all. You must relax!"

Many of the guests sigh a breathe of relief as they begin transforming into monsters. Even the little girl next to Seltza turns a dark green color. Seltza smiles at them all, "Now, my lovies... it seems that there was a threat this year made by someone that if I had this Halloween party bad things were going to happen... well... I'll just have to prevent that, however, I'm going to turn it into a little game!"

The guests stare at Seltza in confusion.

"Once a day, I will allow my guests to vote for who they wish to see gone... once that voting is done, I will come from out of the surveillance room and take the soul from the unlucky ghoul who so happened to have the most votes... I find this a much more interesting approach instead of just finding the guilty one myself~!"

An uneasy air fell across the room as the guests exchanged glances. "Do we understand the rules?" Seltza asks, smiling. The guests nod their heads slowly. "Good!" Seltza says.

"And," she adds, "Not to worry. I'll return everyone's soul at the end of the party! ... That is, if you catch all the naughty ghouls. If not, we'll try again next year... and you'll be my servants for the next 365 days!"

Seltza laughs as she disappears.

"Now, my lovies! Let DAY ONE begin!" Seltza's voice rings throughout the mansion.

Day will end at 10PM EST. Have fun <3

She holds out her hand and a giant mallet appears in it. She then smacks the mallet on the ground and lifts it up to reveal a tiny mouse that has been smooshed. She beckons to the little girl, who picks it up and hands it off to the cat.

No One, Mouse and No Lynch, has been lynched

And now that that's done, night has started.

Seltza yawned as she appeared that morning. She looked at all her guests, except one was missing.

"Oh, it seems we've have a fatality in the night," she said, smiling wickedly. She waved her hand in the air and a body appeared in front of the circle of guests. The body was scratched up very badly, and there was a pool of blood around it (did Seltza really find the need to conjure up that, too?). From the pool of blood where were a few paw prints leading away from the body.

Namanda, Liz (Vampire) and MAFIA has been murdered.

"Oh, looks like this one's no more than a party pooper~" Seltza giggles, "Well, let DAY TWO begin~"

Day Two ends at 4 PM EST

(If I wake up in time... most likely I will, though.)

I feel people actively roleplaying (especially with strange personalities) are safe (although I suppose mafia as well could have been given quirks that blend in with us.)

I want to know what elad's "information" was too! D: Just because he keeps giving us scary death glares or something and that could be suspicious or its just his nature to be menacing. I think elad is always testing us.

Lybi hasn't said anything at all. D: DOES SHE NOT LIKE US AND OUR PARTY? Although we know the killer is actually active so couldn't be her.

I keep trying to come up with some common trait that mafia members might have... Like... what if they were all really mean? We don't know, cause Sparrow never talked. What if all witches were party crashers? I mean, we know that Namanda wasn't a witch, but y'know? v___v I feel like we're all monsters of some sort though, so what would distinguish a vampire being more evil than a witch, who's more evil than a werewolf, who's more evil than any of the other assortment of ghouls and goblins? So I'm stuck in that respect.

I wish elad were on so he could inform us more of his info. :P I think that's what I'll wait for.

But if you go back and read Namanda's death post, I think you may come to the same conclusion as I did. v____v Whether or not it's a correct conclusion? I'm not sure.

I'm sorry if I'm totally wrong. A few things I'd like explained: Why is Seph so mean? D: What was elad's information, and why did he wait to vote for Sparrow? What sort of monster would have a sense sort of disorder... [like, mute and/or blind?]? And why do we appear to have witches of two different factions.

Also, keep in mind that I think A la mode is a SK/vigilante. So if there's another mafia member out there, it might be Lybi, or they might just be attacking someone who can't be killed at night. Via roleblock, or some other such magic. O:

I have my own information about certain people here. Two Mafia members are dead, one a witch and one a vampire. That much is certain. There are 10 players left. I'm so sorry to hear that sephie-poo because just because our personalities conflict doesn't mean we aren't on the same team! It's rather suspicious you accuse even our most valuable Kelsey Kay because she nabbed osparrow due to some information while a la mode was rather a guess due evidence in the game.

Just because we lynched a vigilante in the end doesn't mean we knew she was a vigilante before the lynching. Evidence suggested she was doing the killing, and to be all honest, if we had gotten crossfire, she probably would've been a town and by how you are pointing fingers, you'd have to point fingers on yourself. :sweat

I think Seph's observation makes sense. Essie and Kelsey do seem pretty "chummy", and I can't see any real reason for it... That seems as suspicious as anything else.

elad, you only claim you had information on osparrow. If I remember correctly, you said you had information on that night, however Kelsey Kay threw the first stone (ie picked osparrow) and you followed suit. At that point, ANYONE could have claimed osparrow.

IntoRapture, I advise you take back your vote. Elad is only voting me out of defense. If everyone's voting for me because I voted for a la mode, then recall elad as well voted for a la mode. However, the reason I am voting for elad is not due to a hunch but results of my own investigation. I'm not worried if you guys lynch me, because by lynching me, you'll see I speak the truth (and we have a good number of townies standing), however if this doesn't convince you, then Intorapture, there is a possibility you only return to this party as mafia.

I knew Elad was Lucifer and from that I concluded he was Mafia. If you go back and read his posts, it is obvious who he was. I won't say essie is completely safe, but he/she is a bit less suspicious.

DonJuan's post of "another Mafia bites the dust" may be a way to lessen him from suspicion by making it seem he doesn't want the Mafia to succeed.

Crossfire and DonJuan are the least inactive on the board with Xyk also being not too active. However, Xyk seems to be safe in my mind. I think DonJuan and Crossfire are the most suspicious at this point.

So... what? We're looking for another mafia, or a serial killer, or a neutral, right?

We've had two night kills so far. The first was probably by a la mode, the vigilante. That knocked one mafia off. The other mafia was lynched, and that night a neutral was killed (possibly by elad, but also maybe by another mafia or a serial killer). So... it's likely that we either have one remaining mafia or a serial killer. Or a neutral, possibly.

Since no one really spoke up in either Elad's or Osparrow's defense when they were lynched, I'm guessing there are no more mafia. If there's no night kill tonight, I'm going to assume that we're looking at a neutral and not a killer. (Or that whoever is mafia/serial killer/whatever is inactive.)

I don't know if this helps anyone (I suspect that it doesn't), but I just had to write it out so I didn't get confused. :P

There's always the risk that a wrong vote will make you look suspicious, and I guess I should have considered that more carefully before I jumped on elad's bandwagon... It's not a decision I'll make lightly in the future.

It's more I have other things going on at the same time of a higher priority than this game.

But I can say with complete honesty that if one were to lynch me, it would mean a turn of the tide with having wasted a member of the party who is not a serial killer, neutral or mafia. It's good to know though that I have raised some notice from others players, for the simple reason folks that it means some are paying attention to the levels of activity in this game.

Sadly I really don't have anything substantial regarding other players to offer everyone. But as a member of the town, I would prefer to stay alive and see this game come to an end with a town victory.

Well, I'm going to be at work during cauldron drop, so I guess I'm going to have to cast my vote now.

So, here goes: I'm considered suspicious because I didn't vote against elad, who was revealed to be mafia, and because I predicted that there would not be a nightkill that night, as I thought we were dealing with a neutral. But I wasn't the only one who was thinking that way--Xyk made the same conclusions I did.

And since I know I'm one of the good guys, it leads me to suspect that Xyk is not. Also, he and elad were pretty friendly with one another...

The fact that chibi_riki said the old mafia members can come back must mean elad was the last 1.0 mafia. But the game still went after he died, meaning before any other 2.0s came in, IntoRapture was the only one, meaning IntoRapture has to be at least be mafia.

I... have no information, sadly. With 16 players total, that should put us at 3 possibly 4 mafia members. Like Essie said, it's extremely likely that there are no more 1.0 mafia members. I'll go back and look at things that IntoRapture posted, but since Namanda and Horomaru just joined, it may be that she didn't even know if either of them turned out mafia.

I kind of think we may be done with mafia. Like I said before though, I think neutrals are hard to spot, so I kind of hope that there is mafia left. With no kills last night... I don't know what to think. Because mafia may have been inactive or roleblocked, there's just too many options.

If anyone roleblocked someone last night... come forth? Most people have been active lately, so unless Lybi is mafia... I don't think they'd be inactive. Aside from that... just... everyone give their opinions. ><

Because DonJuan is a werewolf, I suspect a Vampire who is a Mafia member or a SK behind it. Obviously the mafia is still here and you would be beyond foolish to lynch me.

So I guess... I have to ask, Essie, how sure are you of your information? Can you give us anything to verify that it's correct?

You say that you've cleared Seph. And then you say that Lybi can't hurt us... but then Seph says that he has reason to want Lybi dead. So... it's a bit conflicting. I'd like to hear more from Seph, I guess. He was who I was suspecting, but I want Essie's info to be right so bad!

Aside from him, Horomaru and Xyk are my next two. Seltza says... "There is one who doesn't care among you." or something. So yeah, "one who doesn't care" about the outcome would be neutral. But what if it was Seph, like, he acts like he doesn't care about what anyone thinks. And Seltza identifies the person as male...? And then maybe "those who thrive on blood" would be everyone who's cheering for multi-lynches, so that we don't lose any more people needlessly? Or more literally, a vampire type creature?

I don't know. I'm trying to throw more abstract views out, so we can make something of the Lady's riddles. v____v

All I have are suspicions based on what I know. I am not 100 percent sure, but I am basing my suspicions on historical evidence. I believe Essie and Kelsey Kay are safe, they both provide a good bit of activity and information. I'm not too fond of IntoRapture's new roll, being unsure of his/herself. I am not going to vote just yet but I want to stress to all of you that I am not who you should be going after, especially now that either a SK or the Mafia is active again.

Based on a realization, Essie is correct in that all the 1.0 Mafia are dead. But that doesn't mean the killing roles from 1.0 are dead. We have Kelsey Kay, Xyk, Essie, Lybi, Horomaru, and myself. We still have a possible SK on our hands as well as 2.0 / 3.0 Mafia. As for suspicions against me, Essie has cleared me according to Kelsey Kay and his/her own post. I don't have any reliable information on the 2.0 or 3.0 characters so I am still going to wait until anyone else comes up with more information before casting my vote.

"You weren't as lucky tonight as you were the other nights~" she said, giggling. She snapped her fingers and the limp body of DonJuan appeared.

DonJuan, Thomas (Werewolf) and TOWNIE has been murdered

"Looks as if your friends are active again," Seltza said, "Well, have a nice day."

She giggled and disappeared.

It is now DAY SEVEN. Day will end at 2 PM EST.

(Emphasis added. And because I've gotten tired of typing out a stutter, this is going to be out of character.)

Wait, wait, wait. Friends? Plural? As in more than ONE?

This changes my thought process a little. Anyone else have any thoughts on this, or am I interpreting that the completely wrong way?

Based on what I know about Xyk and Lybi, makes me lean towards them. It doesn't make them guilty but what I know bring up guesses, though, based on what I know about the moderator, she could totally be switching it up making all my theories fly out the window.
