This radio play is based off of a popular book known as Guardians of Ga'hoole. Here is the summary....
Deep in the forest of Tyto, nestled into the arms of the fir trees, the Barn Owls dwell. Soren is born into their tranquil kingdom. But evil lurks in the owl world, evil that threatens to shatter Tyto's peace and change the course of Soren's life forever.
First eggs begin to mysteriously disappear from their nests, then Soren himself is captured by a part of strange yellow-eyed owls. He finds himself in a dark and forbidding canyon. It's called an orphanage, the St. Aegolius Academy for Orphaned Owls, but Soren knows it's something far worse. Within his gizzard, the hope for escape remains alive, no matter how many rules, punishments, and sleepless days he faces at St. Aggie's. He and his best friend, Gylfie, know the only way out of this place is up, so they will need to do something they have never done before -- fly.
I need ready and willing people to be apart of this radio play. And trust me...there will be more then enough parts for everyone so if you have a microphone prepare to send in your auditions. You may get the part you audtioned for or another if I think your more fit to play it. You can also audition for more then one part.

Soren- barn owl (male)
Soren is a very kindhearted owl and is very intelligent. He loves his sister and will do anything to protect her. His best friend is an elf owl named Gylfie.

Kludd-barn owl (male) Soren's older brother
Kludd is a mean and rude young owlet. He can't stand Soren or his sister and wants only to fly out of the nest and do what he pleases.

Line2-Is this a true story or what, Da?
Line3-You don't even know what a sister is!
Noctus-barn owl (male) Soren's father
A very kind father and loving to his family. Also very concerned about what's going on in the Tyto kingdom and loves to tell legends.

Line1-Oh, by Glaux it's a girl!
Line2-Oh, I'll oh brother you!
Line3-Hop! Hop! That's it Kludd!
Marilla-barn owl (female) Soren's mother
A very kind and lively mother. Cares for her brood and does anything to protect them. Sometimes becomes too worried.

Line1-Nonsense dear, you can't eat a whole vole.
Line2-Oh, great Glaux!
Line3-Eggs from a nest?
Mrs. P-Nest maid snake (female)
A very kindly old snake with a lousianna accent. Very neat and tidy.

Line1-Oh, the stories I've heard.
Line2-Course not ma'am.
Line3-Don't you apologize, ma'am.
